kabella.
“Useless. You can’t seem to do anything right. I asked you for just one thing to seduce the Alpha and become his Luna, yet you can’t even manage that! If he chooses that wolfless girl as Luna, then you are no daughter of mine
As the car glides smoothly down the road, my father’s words echo in my mind. It’s all I hear, no matter how hard I try to block them out
My father has always been strict–a man who rules his house with an iron fist- a man who demands both obedience and respect. He craves power and wealth, and to him, no one should be above him, except for Damien, the Alpha.
Since he couldn’t outmatch Damien in power, my father decided to side with him in a way that would make him and Damien nearly equal. That’s when he came up with an interesting plan–a plan where I would marry Damien, bear him an heir, and become the grandfather of the next Alpha
It was supposed to be easy- a simple task, especially since Damien hadn’t found his mate yet. But everything spiraled out of control when Elara entered the picture.
She arrived and, in the blink of an eye, captured the Alpha’s heart. My father couldn’t do anything about it because despite being wolfless, she was still Damien’s mate, and that gave her every right to be Luna.
So… Elara became a problem in his plan. And as he had said earlier, problems must be eliminated–either peacefully or in a way he would force me to do something I didn’t want to do. To put it simply, if I didn’t handle it peacefully, Elara would die.
“Ma’am, we’ve arrived at the hospital, but there’s a crowd. It seems like something is going on, the driver’s voice pulls me out of my thoughts. I look up and see a crowd gathered at the entrance.

I flick my gaze to Elara, and I see a soft blush creeping onto her cheeks as she seems utterly mesmerized by him. For some strange reason, this sight makes my heart pound, and I frown, my eyes narrowing further to Elara
“What should I do, madam? Should I drive forward so you can meet with the Alpha?”
“No.” I reply almost immediately, straightening in my seat. “Don’t drive. I’m not here to see the Alpha. Park here for now.”
“Okay, madam.

“Don’t wait for me, Return home. I might be late, so just go back for now” With those words, I step out of the car and make my

The pack’s hospital is large, with high ceilings and a clean, sterile atmosphere. I walk down the hallway, the sound of my heels clicking against the polished floor, and in no time attention are on me.
“Look, isn’t that Isabella?” A hushed voice whispers from behind.
“Isabella? The one who was engaged to the Alpha? What is she doing here? Oh my gosh, don’t tell me she’s here to cause a scene with Dr. Elara.
“Why would you think thath
“Didn’t you hear? Dr. Elara is supposed to be the Luna now. Maybe Isabella’s here to confront her about it. The hospital’s been full of drama ever since Dr. Elara arrived!-looks like we might be in for another show
My steps remain steady as I approach the reception desk, purposely ignoring the whispered comments that seem to float through the air, knowing they’re aimed at me.
“Good morning, can you please direct me to Miss Elara’s office?” Lask, keeping my tone calm and composed. The receptionist’s eyes widen in surprise, and for a moment, she hesitates, unsure whether to give me the information.
Before I can speak up again, a high–pitched voice interrupts from behind me. I don’t need to turn around to know who it is.
“Hi, Isabella! It’s been so long. What are you doing here?” Anastasia’s voice rings out, and I turn to see her, along with her usual group both eyeing me with disdain.

and she stands with her arms crossed, exuding an air of confidence. Hy her sides are Lila and Lana, the twin sisters who mirror each other in everything—from their hair and makeup to their clothes–and, of course, their shared animosury toward me.
“You haven’t been picking up my calls, Isabella. We used to be such good friends, and now you’re ignoring me. That’s not very nice,” Anastasia says with a pout. I straighten my back and slip my hands into my pockets
“Tim sorry, I didn’t mean to ignore your calls, but I’ve been quite busy with some things these days”
“Why wouldn’t she be busy, when she’s been rejected by the Alpha” Lila–no, Lana–murmurs under her breath with an eye roll. Honestly. F couldn’t be bothered to tell them apart.
“Don’t say that, I am sure Isabella feels bad already” Anastasia says but I can still see the flicker of delight in her eyes. “Are you here to see that woodless girl! Honestly I was expecting you to put her in her place, how dare she think she can steal the alpha away from you. Even if she is the Alpha’s mate, that is still not qualify in he Luna!”
My expression falters, and I almost roll my eyes at her words. Does she think I’m a fool? Does she truly believe I can’t see the real reason behind her words? It’s obvious—she’s in love with Damien and desperate to become Lima herself.
“The decision isn’t mine to make, but you can take your words to the Alpha himself,” I say, my voice steady and cold. “I’m sure he will listen to you. But I advise you to watch your moutle Armastasia, because the last person who said thinse words” | let the corner of my lips curl into a slight smirk. leaning in just a little. “Well, I’m sure you’ve heard about the elder who said the same thing and was.” I make a slashing gesture with my fingers. allowing my words to linger, watching as her face drains of color and her eyes widen in horror
“Y–you, how dare you talk to Anastasia like that?” One of the twins yells, but I lean back, unimpressed, not giving them the satisfaction of a response. I turn my attention to the receptionist instead
“Office?” I ask again. The receptionist visibly trembles under my gaze and quickly points to the left
“F–first office to the left,” she stammers.

When I reach the office, I take a deep breath and knock on the door, trying to ignore the pounding of my heart
Thave a secret I haven’t shared with anyone, a secret I’ve kept buried from the world and my father. A secret that, if exposed, could destroy everything I’ve worked for.
The door opens, and my eyes flicker from Martha to Elara, whose expression shifts into one of shock the moment she sees me
My secret? I don’t want the title of Luna. I don’t want Damien. How could I, when I’m not interested in men at all? My heart belongs to women— and one woman, in particular, has caught my eye.
Elara. The mate of my ex fiance.
