Leo struggled to pull me.
My will to live was very low, and he couldn’t drag me at all.
If this continued, we would both die in the sea.
Leo stared at me in shock, tears flowing from the corners of his eyes, dispersing into the
vast ocean.
“I’m sorry.”
He seemed to have come to terms with something and gave me a devout smile.
His hand was still tightly holding onto mine, but he no longer tried to pull me up.
Realizing that he wanted to die with me, a wave of nausea washed over me.
What a joke, did he want to keep pestering me even on the way to the underworld?
“Let go,” I said, staring at him steadily.
Leo lay on his back, ignoring my words, with no intention of letting go.
I sighed and gently persuaded him.
“Leo, don’t you want to avenge me?”
These words seemed to have an effect. Leo’s tight grip loosened a bit.
I continued to provoke him:
“You need to live, Leo. Take down Jack for me.”
“Who knows, I might forgive you in the afterlife.”
