Leonardo releases a shudder of breath. “I just have to prove your brother wrong” My head twisted to the ceiling and I clutched a pillow to my chest.
“When I said you’re mine, Alessia, I meant it.” He continued
Butterflies dance in my stomach at his words. “I think I might need to be reminded again.” I teased.
He chuckles in response. “Ill come see you soon. Work has just been way hectic over here.”

“Bye,” I whispered before drawing the phone away from my ear and clamping my eyes shut.
Oh, how I wished everything was a lot simpler than this.

It’s been two days:
lays since Leonardo shot me in the shoulder back at Alessia’s place. I haven’t seen him since. We live in the same house but he has successfully avoided me ever since.

I rolled my eyes and turned to the wall when Russo didn’t reply to me. He’s awfully quiet for such a serious conversation.
