Chapter 104
Sophia’s pupils suddenly contracted, her porcelain white, cold and glamorous face flushed red all of a sudden, and her bright, round eyes appeared even more bulging.
“Responsible?”
“Responsible for what?”
What did she have to be responsible for him?!
What nonsense was this damned man spouting in front of her grandpa?!

Grandpa indeed noticed something unusual in the atmosphere between the two, and immediately, like a detective, his eyes were wary, fingers clenching the jade ring on his thumb, and his suspicious gaze shuttled between them.
“Responsible for what? You two… knew each other before?!”
Grandpa’s gray beard instantly stood on end, his murderous gaze instantly slicing towards Tristan Yeats.
He dared to let Sophia and Tristan talk alone because he was sure Sophia didn’t know him at all, and it was absolutely impossible for her to agree to a marriage contract with a stranger.
But if… they already knew each other?
Then there was no way they could be left alone in the same space!
Under Mr. Roscente’s increasingly sharp gaze, and Sophia’s warning glare….
Tristan smiled, yet the expression remained like that of an abandoned puppy, with a sense of loneliness. He sighed softly and said to Mr. Roscente, “Grandpa, you probably don’t know, but a few days ago at the hospital…”
Sophia found this moment so embarrassing.
She suddenly jumped to Tristan’s front, grabbed his arm, and dragged him upstairs.
“Go, go, go! Talk alone! I’ll talk to you alone!!!”
Shut up already!
You devil!
He did it on purpose.
Absolutely on purpose!
Obviously, it was he who ambushed her at the hospital, he who took advantage of her!
And now he had the nerve to brazenly run to her grandfather and ask her to take responsibility?
The girl pulled the man away, like a whirlwind, quickly leaving the scene.
Edward Roscente squinted his eyes even more sharply and grimly, staring intently at the direction where the two disappeared, ominously and extremely dangerously.
Gary, who was left behind, felt that the atmosphere in the hall was so gloomy it was somewhat terrifying, as if even breathing had become particularly thin.

Chapter 104
He swallowed hard, his heart pounding, beat by beat, as he quietly moved his feet, wanting to take the opportunity to escape this dangerous place.
He would rather wait for Tristan at the entrance of the manor.
It was still better than to stay here and suffer inhuman torture!
Just as Gary had taken a couple of steps.
Edward Roscente’s ominous voice came from behind him, “Gary”
Gary was so scared.
He suddenly felt a chill down his spine.
This was more frightening than angrily calling him a brat.
But he dared not move at all now, so he could only stiffly turn his head, giving Mr. Roscente a couple of awkward laughs, “Heh heh heh.”
“Come here.” Edward raised his hand.
In Gary’s eyes, it was like the gates of hell opened, extending a hand beckoning his soul.
Yet, be dared not disobey, trembling as he moved his legs, step by step, towards Mr. Roscente.
Edward asked, “Tell me, what’s really going on between my little Soph and Tristan Yeats?”
Gary did not know how to explain.
Ahhh!
Why was it that this was clearly Tristan’s journey to win his wife, but it was him who got hurt all the time!
Sophia pulled the man into her room, closed the door, and even locked it, then forcefully and dominantly pinned the man against the door.
She bristled, baring her teeth fiercely, glaring at him with a vicious look, “Why did you talk nonsense in front of my grandpa?”
The tall and slender man leaned his back against the cold door. He was pressed against it by the girl but didn’t struggle at all. Instead, he hooked a smile, his deep black eyes filled with a tender smile.
“I wasn’t talking nonsense.”
His lips moved slightly, his scarlet lips parting and closing, extremely noticeable, “Shouldn’t… you take responsibility?”
Sophia’s eyes turned red with anger, and she pressed harder on his arm, pushing herself against him, “That, that was clearly… you taking advantage of me! You kissed me while I was asleep, how can you ask me to take responsibility?”
“Oh-”
Tristan’s low, magnetic voice dragged out the sound, and light in his eyes spread out in amusement, “Then, I should take responsibility for you.”
Sophia responded: “No need!”

Chapter 104
What era was this? Wasn’t it just a kiss?
It was just a quick kiss.
It was not like she slept with him.
Was it necessary to be so innocent?.
“But…” the man’s black lashes lowered, his lazy voice tinged with disappointment, “That was my first kiss.”
Sophia was speechless.
She rounded her bright eyes, staring at Tristan in disbelief.
This man… with his utterly enchanting appearance, the head of the Yeats family, he should be at least twenty–four or twenty–five, yet… his first kiss?!
Who was he lying to?
Tristan’s brows and eyes were innocent, his voice earnest, “It’s true.”
Sophia did not know what to say.
Sophia did not know what expression to make for a moment.
She choked for a while, then gritted her teeth, tightened her grip on his arm, and said gruffly, “That was also my first kiss, so we don’t owe each other!”
Under the man’s dark lashes, his eyes glimmered with a charming light, and his thin lips curled up as he spoke in a joyful tone, “Oh- so it was also your first kiss.”
The voice was so close to her ear, low and lazy, as if accompanied by scorching breath.
Sophia’s porcelain–white face turned even redder instantly, her chest heaving with anger.
From Tristan’s angle, looking down at the girl, the angle was just right.
The girl had pinned him against the door.
Her slender white hand lay across his chest just like that.
Through the thin shirt, he could feel the warm softness of her palm.
She tilted her head, and due to the earlier intense movement, the shark clip securing her hair had loosened, letting her dark strands lazily hang at the back of her head, with a few strands draping down her cheeks, clinging to her face and entwining around her delicate snow–white slender neck.
Further down.
The delicate collarbone beneath the white T–shirt was faintly visible.
In stark contrast with her flushed face.
Making his heart… flutter.
Tristan’s breathing became hotter, and even his gaze gradually deepened, the smile at the corner of his lips inexplicably adding a touch of danger.
“Since it was the first kiss for both, this makes it easier.”

Chapter 104
His voice was low and lazy, with a charming smile at the corner of his eyes, as if intentionally casting a spell on Sophia “Then, we should both be responsible for each other’s first kiss and fulfill the marriage agreement between the two families, without delay.”
Sophia was at a loss of words.
Was it really necessary to get engaged just for a first kiss?
She frowned, “You, the head of the Yeats family, are so conservative?”
The man remained expressionless, his voice calm and lazy, “This is called keeping myself pure, being responsible to myself and to… you, Sophia.”
Sophia’s face turned red once again.
Responsible? Bullshit!
