“Hello, Miss Harris. Please come. Mr. Brown has been having a hard time lately.”
I laughed as I told the caller, “Did you forget? I’m dead now. What does her well–being have to do with me?” The other party was silent for a while before continuing, “Mr. Brown hired a private search and rescue team to search that sea area for more than a month. No matter how much his sister tried to persuade him, it was useless.

“But he was forcibly taken back by his father.”
My goodness, I almost forgot my father–in–law, the old Mr. Brown who underwent cancer treatment in Singapore. It seemed that what happened this time really affected the Brown family’s company. Its stock price became unstable, which caused him to be anxious and forced him to go back to London.
I coldly said to the other end, “Neil played me like a fool, so he should bear all the consequences.”

refused her outright.”
“It was Marion who wanted to take everything away from me, so let her get what she wanted.”
I shook my head and hung up the phone.
At first, I was not used to the sea breeze, humidity, strong sunshine and overly enthusiastic people in this city. The company recruited a few young employees. Knowing that I was alone, they insisted on taking me out to the beach to surf or windsurf.
In the past, I would just stay indoors all year round. However, their persistence finally had a significant effect on me. Slowly but surely, I fell in with outdoor sports. Since I spent lots of time outdoors, my complexion became
healthier.
Not only that, I began focusing on my job. I helped people in this small city design new homes and kindergartens. Watching them build their lives bit by bit, the emptiness in my heart gradually filled.
One day, Alex Sewell, a young employee I hired, pulled me aside and said mysteriously, “Miss Harris, my uncle wants to design an art museum. Can you meet him tonight? Have a dinner with him to know more about it?”
I looked at him suspiciously and said, “It’s great that older people have the idea of building an art museum.
Please make an appointment.”
Alex just laughed in response. I didn’t understand why until we arrived at the restaurant. Her uncle looked only a few years older than her. To be honest, he was indeed very handsome. Alex’s uncle was a gorgeous man withd shoulders and perfect limbs.
When the man walked in, the waiter who waited on us came back and forth to our table several times in awe, which was a testimony of how handsome he was. I turned my head and couldn’t help but steal a glance. The man leaned back in his chair, drinking his coffee calmly. His delicate eyebrows and refined nature reminded me of James
Dean.
Suddenly, he looked over and our eyes met. I panicked for no reason. Somehow, my heart was pounding. Immediately, I lowered my head to take a sip of water.
Alex winked at me enthusiastically.

“Uncle Leo, this is Miss Sophia Harris from our company. She’s very capable. I heard she graduated from Oxford’s Department of Architecture. She’s a young and promising architect who will make a breakthrough in the design world,” my employee said, introducing me to her uncle.
After that, Alex talked to me, introducing her uncle to me, “Miss Harris, this is my uncle. Leo Sewell. Anyway, he’s
single and rich.”
Leo clenched his right fist slightly and coughed lightly.
“Thanks for taking care of Alex. This girl is always disrespectful. Sometimes she speaks bluntly, so I hope you
can bear with her.”
I nodded as I told Leo, “No. I’m rather thankful, actually. She has a lively personality, but she’s very serious and
responsible at work.”
Leo smiled.
“That’s good. My family was worried she wouldn’t take her work seriously.”
“By the way, I want to build an art museum for children with autism. Alex said you’re very talented, so I want to
ask you to design it.”
“I wonder if you’re willing to take on the project?”
Something inside me was touched. Immediately, my expression hardened as I became more interested in this
offer.
“My parents also wanted to build an art museum for children with autism, but I always put it aside. Now that you
have this idea, I’d be happy to do it.”
“Miss Sewell, I can design this for you free of charge, as long as you have enough budget for construction.”
Leo looked at me deeply, her beautiful face set with a firm expression as he calmly said, “Fine by me.”
