As Quinlee continued speaking, her voice grew shrill and her mouth began to twitch. “I was a good friend of your sister. Before she died, she reached out to me.
“She wanted me to pass on a message, saying you were her favorite brother and asking you to avenge her once you got out. Your sister didn’t rest in peace!”
Ethan’s eyes were bloodshot as he lay limp on the cold floor of the cramped apartment.
Quinlee casually took a couple of steps closer. She said slyly, “You’re a wealthy heir, and not only did Aaron personally put you in jail, ruining your life, but the inheritance that should’ve been yours was completely destroyed by Alex.

“If it weren’t for me spending a lot of money to get you out of prison early because of my friendship with your sister, you’d still be stuck in there for a few more years.

Quinlee took the chance and said, “Your sister once saw Ellie as her best friend, but Ellie stole your sister’s fiancé and team up with Alex to kill her in Yorksure.
“Your sister cared so much for you. You have to avenge her; you must get rid of that witch Ellie!”
Ethan was completely blinded by his hate, and given his current desperate situation, he depended on Quinlee to feed him. so he immediately agreed, “I will kill those two scumbags to avenge my dad and my sister!”

Quinlee panicked and quickly retreated back into the apartment. Ethan, inside the apartment, was so scared he wanted to jump out the window but Quinlee stopped him.
Quinlee said, Tm just here to help you out a bit since we’ve been friends. We haven’t done anything wrong, they won’t do anything to us.”
“Besides, I’m Quinlee, the second daughter of the Janssen family, and my sister is married to the eldest son at Grant family. Even Mr. Warren can’t do anything to us!”
