Chapter 24%
I changed into my wolf clothes, the kind we wear when we’re ready for a journey. I realized i packed them with me but never wore it. I pulled on my thick fur tunic and leather vest. The leather was rough, but it felt like home. My boots, made from bear hide, scraped against the wooden floor as I walked to the front of the ship. The wind outside was getting colder, and the storm was growing closer. I knew it was time.
“Let’s explore those territories Foggy suggested? Lyca spoke through mind link. I nodded.
Foggy had tucked away the maps for me incase I would change my mind and explore beyond the land of no return.8
Foggy’s note was still in my hand. The map he gave me was folded carefully in my other hand. I had to go to a faraway land, one I had never visited before. There was no tuming back now!
“The land of no return was the stepping stone..we are unstoppable Lyria. No Alpha’s rules” My wolf leaves inside me. I smiled. This was why I left, to vanish, find a place that would appreciate me and forget my bitter childhood memories.
I grabbed the ship’s wheel, my hands gripping the wood tightly. The ship rocked, and the waves crashed, but I held firm. The wind howled and pushed against the sails, but the ship obeyed me. I didn’t know how, but I could feel the ship moving with me, trusting me to guide it.
“Foggy: I am actually sailing I exclaimed like he could hear me.3
Soon, I could see land. The border of the territory. It was huge, wild, and strange. The trees were tall and thick. There was something different about this place, something old and powerful.
I slowed the ship as we got closer. It stopped just at the edge of the land, the waves still crashing gently against the ship. I stepped off the boat, my boots sinking slightly into the soft ground. The smell of pine and earth filled my nose. There were sounds of wolves nearby howls echoing in the distance.}
“Welcome to the wild?” I whispered to myself. My heart raced, and I felt a strange mix of excitement and fear.
“Welcome!” My wolf leaped inside of me wanting to come out for a run.
I was about to step off the ship when I heard the screen light up, flashing brightly in the dim light of the evening. Something pulled me back, a feeling I couldn’t ignore. I walked over and looked at it one last time. It was the image of Lilith, bruised and broken, in the healer’s den.
I could almost feel her pain. No wolves came to check on her. She limped around, her every step slow and painful. They avoided her. The other wolves, with their whispers, cursed her for bad luck!
Even her pack disowned her“}
“So despicable”
“She should die already“!!
“Why would Danon settle for a malicious wolf like her?”
“The moon goddess avenge her own wolves…7
“She wasn’t even as innocent”
I could hear her cries in my mind. She wished she could change everything, fix the past. But it was too late
Damon’s mother had kicked her out.
“You have no connection to Damon or this territory again!” She dragged her by the hair not carrying she just returned from the healer’s den.8
You have stained my Damon already, ruined our alliances with several territories, even your own father sent you on exile” She spat to her face.

one I have got now Lilith fell on her
“Vanish. Disappear like your sister too. Get away from here before I make you or I will make you regret knowing me!” She barked
“Get this thing from here, dump her far away from this headquarter. Away from Damon. Take her faraway” She instructed her warrior wolves
The charged at Lilith. Driving her away with force. She wailed and begged but it fell on deaf ears.?
She was alone, lost. I felt something deep inside me–a mix of anger, sympathy, and sadness. Lilith had been cast aside, but that didn’t mean I had to care. She made her choices
“Why are you sad? You didn’t even suffer half of what I did. You made me suffer Lilith. So it’s oh fair you tasted your medicine i
blurted with no remorse.
I stared at the screen for a moment–longer, the tears Lilith shed too familiar, too real. But I wasn’t her. I wouldn’t be like her. I turned away. I didn’t need to see more &
I walked to the back of the ship, my boots making quiet thuds on the wooden deck. The firelight flickered in front of me, warm and steady. There, at the edge, was the ceremonial blade Foggy had given me. I had carried it for a while now, but tonight, it would serve a new purpose.!
I reached for it, the cold metal of the blade sending a shiver through my fingertips. As I held it, something inside me shifted. I had been living in Lilith’s shadow for far too long. The girl who was weak, the one who had been tossed aside, ignored. That wasn’t me.
With a deep breath, I looked down at the water. The moonlight danced on its surface, and the firelight from the ship reflected in my eyes. It felt like this was my final goodbye to everything I had been. The past, Lilith’s mistakes–everything.&
2:24 PM –
“I’m done,” I whispered to myself. The words felt heavy, but they also felt freeing.
I lifted the blade, feeling its sharp edge against my skin. It wasn’t just the hair that I was cutting. It was everything I had been. Everything I had been holding onto, I didn’t want to be her
I was done watching them suffer from the results of their actions.
