Chapter 25%
The sound of the wind whispered in my years, carrying the scent of the ocean and the wild land ahead!!
I had no resemblance to Lilith again. And I do not care whatever happened in my pack from now henceforth.
I turned the blade in my hand, looking at the sharp edge, the reflection of my eyes staring back at me. I had no more regrets, no more hesitation. I was walking into the unknown territory and forgetting my past, and I was going to face it head–on.
“To us. to us who came out victorious” Lyca leaped inside ne with joy.
“Destroy the screen too.” Lyca reminded me.
The screen was gone now. No more Lilith, no more Damon, no more Mather, no more looking back. I tossed the blade into the fire, watching as the flames consumed it, leaving nothing behind but ashes.
I stood tall, feeling the power in my bones: I had made my choice. I wasn’t going to be dragged down by the past. Not anymore. The fire crackled louder, and for a moment, I stood there, listening to the crackle of the flames, the whispers of the wind, and the promise of this new future
er the wolf who had run from everything
And with that, I stepped off the ship and onto the land, no longer
I was the she wolf who rejected her fate.
I walked into the new territory, feeling the shift in the air. The wolves here were different–bigger, stronger. Their warriors stood tall, their fur shining in the sun, their movements sharp and precise. I couldn’t help but admire their strength, the way they commanded respect without even trying.
The she wolves here were no different. They moved with purpose, their eyes full of fire, mates by their side. I could feel the bond, the way they loved and protected each other. I wondered if I would ever find that kind of connection!!
back.
As I walked deeper, I was lost in my thoughts, when suddenly I bumped into something hard–a strong body, and I was knocked
“Watch where you’re going,” a deep voice growled.
I looked up, startled. The wolf in his human form was huge, his broad shoulders blocking the sun, His eyes were fierce, but something about him made my heart race. He wasn’t just any wolf. I just knew it and Lyca confirmed it.
I opened my mouth to apologize, but he cut me off.
“New here?” he asked, his voice softer now, though still commanding 1
I nodded, trying to find my voice “Yeah. Just… admiring the territory”
“A rogue?” He asked without waiting for my response.
He raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a half–smile. “You’ve got guts. Not many y wander in here like y
I tilted my head, meeting his gaze. “Guess I’m not afraid of a little challenge.”
His eyes twinkled, “You’re bold. I like that”
“Yes, just like the female wolves in this territory. And don’t worry about me being a Rogue”
I said, meeting his gaze.
you
I am not here to be noticed. And if your territory is accommodating, they won’t even know I was here” I added.
“It seemed you threw away fear when you stepped into this territory. This is Crescent Temtory. We treat everyone equally except they want otherwise we give them choices.“!!
