The air in the room was tense. For the first time, Ethan realized that he was losing his grip on his parents. Owen–the son he had worked so hard to erase–still existed in their hearts.}
Peter inhaled sharply. His voice, when he spoke again, was lower but no less commanding. “Leave now. I want to be alone with your mother.“>
Ethan’s expression darkened in an instant. He clenched his fists, but there was nothing more he could say. Without another word, he turned and strode out of the house.
Silence engulfed the room after his departure. Peter and his wife sat motionless, lost in their thoughts, as night gave way to dawn. Neither of them spoke, yet they both knew where they needed to go next.”
As soon as the first rays of sunlight broke through the horizon, they held hands and went to the police station. But when the officers asked for their son’s physical characteristics, their hearts clenched with a devastating realization.

The doctor sighed heavily and looked away. “I don’t know what happened between you all, but from what I can see, even if Mr. Owen is still alive, he will never want to return to this family. With Mr. Ethan around, Mr. Owen will always be the unwanted one.“}

“That’s all I have to say. Please leave. I want no part in the affairs of the Griffith Family.”
