“Now that your father–in–law, Mr. Chaiden, has stepped down, the new successor should be your brother–in–law, Theodore Siegfried. Saying nice things later is just a matter of letting the Siegfried Family move their fingers!“}
I knew it was really a narrow road for enemies. Unfortunately, they didn’t know that my younger brother, Theodore, had never thought of taking over the Siegfried Family’s business.
If it wasn’t for Darrel’s tendency to move in the opposite direction, I was afraid that by now, the Roderick Family and the Siegfried Family would have long since merged to become the business leaders.}
“Hi, everyone, how are you?”
I pushed the door open and walked in calmly and generously. On the other hand, the Roderick Family couple changed their expression as if they had seen a ghost.
“You are Giselle. How your legs look…”
“Are you actually a human or a ghost?“}
“Isn’t Theodore the head of the Roderick Family? How could it be you?“}

“Since Giselle has returned, we are a family and we don’t have to talk about different things in two families.”
His words were high–sounding at this moment. “Now that the Roderick Family is in trouble, you have to ask your brother to step in and help out as well, Giselle.”
I also didn’t know how this stinky old man had the nerve to say such words. I opened my mouth and didn’t hesitate to shoot down their calculations.
“I am the head of the Siegfried Family now. After I was rumoured to have died, none of the Roderick Family mourned in silence. Now that I am back, why should our Siegfried Family have to help out your family?”
I, who had always had a peaceful and soft character, became forceful. The three of them stared at each other in silence. At this exact moment, the door of the room was opened again.}
“Mr. Darrel is inside.“}
The charming voice of Karina came, “Darrel, you guys came here. How come you didn’t say hello to me?“>
Her dress was completely different from the plain doctor’s appearance in the past. Now she was full of the smell of money.}
I showed sarcasm in front of them. “Is this what you call it, a family? How come I didn’t know that now that the dynasty has changed, the Roderick Family still has the popular custom of keeping a mistress outside?“}
My eyes drifted to Darrel’s dad now. “It’s really a case of the upper beam not being straight and the lower beam being crooked.”}
Being looked at by this glance of mine, Darrel’s dad blew his beard and eyes in anger. The next second was Karina.}
She screamed, “Giselle Siegfried? You! You didn’t die?“}
After saying that, Darrel didn’t give her any face at all and scolded, “Get out from here now.”
