Tessa didn’t respond right away. Instead, she closed the hospital room door behind her and sauntered over to the bed with at confident sway
She loosened her belt, and her coat slipped open, showing off her stunning figure. Her outfit was barely there–just a few strategically placed strings–and she wore a coy, seductive smile. “Darling,” she purred, “I’m here for you”
Stanley’s eyes lit up, and he tapped his thigh with eagerness. “It’s been days since I’ve had any fun–come on, sit down.”
Tessa wasn’t exactly a knockout, but she was definitely adventurous and fearless. Whenever they hooked up, they always had a great time.
As she moved closer to the bed, Stanley hit the button to lower his raised leg.
“Stanley…” Tessa leaned in, playfully tilting her head to let her ear brush against his.
The pleasant scent from her filled the air, and feeling her warmth, Stanley wrapped his arm around her waist and gently nibbled her earlobe.
“You tease!” he exclaimed, intertwining his fingers in her hair. Just as he was about to deepen their kiss, an all–too–familiar fragrance hit him.
Suddenly, Stanley’s expression shifted. He grabbed Tessa’s hair and pushed her away in a flash. “You deceitful witch! How dare you poison me? You’re toxic. Not again, my skin is itching.”
In seconds, red welts erupted across Stanley’s face, and a harrowing itch spread over him. He frantically pressed the call button by his bed.
The sharp alarm blared, and medical staff burst into the room. They came in so fast that Tessa didn’t even have time to grab her coat. Lipstick smears were still all over Stanley’s face and neck–it was pretty clear what had just gone down.
Mortified, Tessa snatched her coat, threw it on, and bolted from the room, her face burning red. What the hell just happened? Why does Stanley think I’m toxic? Everything was totally fine the last time we were together.
