They found themselves in a lavishly decorated hall.
A man sat at the far end, facing away from the pool, surrounded by a group of stunning models in bikinis.

The man radiated an intimidating aura, his gaze flickering over the women before a frown creased his forehead. “Is this it?
No new ones?”
An assistant quickly waved his hand, and a new line of bikini–clad beauties strutted onto the scene, each one more gorgeous than the last, like they were walking the runway at Fashion Week in a grand venue.
Kristina perched at the edge of the pool, peeking over with just her eyes visible.
Beside her, Trenton leaned in, curious. “What are you looking at?”
“Shh, keep it down. We need to assess the situation first,” Kristina whispered back.
Kristina had been shocked to find that the concealed passage led to this extravagant place. It looked like the highest–tier indoor water park, but the McClains wouldn’t have imported all of this just for fun.
They had certainly come a long way after sliding through that long tunnel. The passage, hidden beneath the pool, had completely sealed off any visible signs of disturbance.
At that moment, one of the bikini models caught the eye of the man who had his back to them. “You, come here,” he commanded.
The model’s face lit up with surprise as she prepared to move forward, but then there was a sudden commotion from the pool. A vibrant fountain erupted, spraying colored water into the air. Kristina had intended to sneak away, but her hand accidentally brushed against a sensor.
The middle–aged man turned his attention toward them, and their eyes met. Kristina caught a glimpse of his sharp, piercing gaze, but in an instant, she turned away and grabbed Trenton, urging him to run from the pool.
She moved quickly, not worrying about direction–just any escape route that presented itself. They seemed to be in a luxurious villa with a vast yard. Kristina even thought she heard barking behind them. That guy had sent out hunting dogs.
The estate felt endless, with no buildings in sight beneath their feet–only a sprawling expanse of grass interspersed with maze–like bushes. Kristina pulled Trenton into the cover of the trees, climbing up a sturdy trunk.
They settled onto a thick branch, Kristina panting from the effort, her clothes dripping wet. Whether it was pool water or sweat, she couldn’t tell; it trickled down her delicate chin.
Trenton, balancing carefully on the branch, held onto a nearby twig with one hand, while the other braced himself protectively around Kristina. “Why are we running?” he asked, puzzled.
Kristina gasped for air. “Do you know Devin Anderson? Well, you probably don’t. He’s infamous! Just a glance at hir scare kids into tears. We’ve stumbled into his territory, and if he catches us, we’re in serious trouble.”
She fished her phone out of her pocket, a custom device built to withstand water and drops, complete with a specialized tracking system.
She sent a signal for backup and, just as she tucked her phone away, she spotted a pack of hunting dogs below, their tongues lolling as they stared menacingly at her.
The dogs started barking, and soon the search party arrived, while both Kristina and Trenton found themselves marked by red laser dots–sniper targeting.
“Don’t do anything rash. It’s all a misunderstanding, we’re coming down.” Kristina raised her hands, signaling for Trenton to

do the same. Knowing when to back down was the smart move.
They descended and were brought to Devin. Dressed in a tailored Italorian suit, he lounged on a leather sofa, exuding an effortless charm that belied his forty–plus years.
He looked remarkably well–kept, with a face free of excess wrinkles, radiating the kind of confidence only a man like him could possess, although there was an unsettling darkness to his presence.
Devin’s eyes fixed on Kristina. “Did you come here looking for me?”
Kristina quickly replied, “No, sir. This is just a misunderstanding. What if I said I stumbled in here by accident? Would you believe me?”
Devin didn’t respond immediately. He drummed his fingers on the armrest thoughtfully before issuing a command. “Take her clothes off.”
