old man would get what was coming to him, but that wasn’t important, taking care of what was in her hand was.
She was distracted when she heard her phone vibrate. When she looked at it, she saw that it was a notification from Jeremy’s account. He had posted.
She immediately tapped on it, and her heart skipped a beat when she saw a picture of him. He was definitely back, as she recognized his family mansion in the background of the photo.
A smile appeared on her lips as she looked at the face of the man she loved. He had definitely become more handsome, and she felt like a teenager once more.
Jeremy’s parents and her parents were close and, so, they had grown up together. She had liked him for a very long time, but she had hidden it as she didn’t think he would ever like her, especially when her sister was there.
Therefore, her shock knew no bounds when he told her that he liked her on her twenty–first birthday. It was a shame that they barely dated for a year before he was sent away by his father
He was however back and once he debunked the photo everything would be fine. He would also take care of Antonio’s situation.
That was it. Instead of worrying unnecessarily about Antonio, all she had to do was to tell Jeremy about it.
‘I need to wear the perfect dress for tonight,‘ she said to herself as she threw away the paper in her hand. Without wasting
further time, she went into her room so she could start getting ready.

“Keep an eye on her,” Antonio instructed Martin before disconnecting the call. The fact that he wasn’t there physically didn’t
mean he wasn’t to be watching Zabelle.
He wanted to know what step she would take with what he had done to her.
He was currently on his way up to his office in the same elevator that Zabelle had been just the previous day and memories of what she had done still lingered fresh in his head and until he completely destroyed her, they would continue to linger.
“Sir,” he heard his secretary call as soon as he stepped out of the elevator. It seemed like the latter had been waiting for him, and this made Antonio frown as he knew that something had happened or was about to happen.
“What is it, Daniel?” Antonio probed.
“Your father is currently in your office,” Daniel informed him, reminding Antonio of the fact that he was supposed to have a meeting with the old man, a meeting he had conveniently ignored.
A frown made its way to his face as he proceeded to his office. When he got in, he found his father sitting on the sofa in the large office.
“Why are you here?” He asked coldly, wanting to remind his father of just how he loathed his presence.
“That’s no way to greet your father,” William sighed as he stared at his son.
“We both know our relationship dynamic, so why act shocked I’m greeting you this way?” Antonio rolled his eyes as he made his way to his desk.
It had been years since they had a normal relationship, and so he knew his father was just trying to engage him in small talk. something he wasn’t interested in.
“You were supposed to come home yesterday, Antonio,” William stated as he looked at his son.
“I don’t remember ever agreeing to such a meeting. Going through my secretary wasn’t going to change that,” Antonio deadpanned, as he didn’t appreciate his father threatening Daniel to fix a meeting.
“It’s been so many years, son. How long are you going to remain mad at me?”
Antonio clenched his fists upon hearing his father’s words, as William’s words reminded him of something he tried to forget.
However, instead of dignifying his father’s words with a response, he looked at his watch after which he got up and walked out of his office, not caring about his father.
