“You
chch!” Jeremy stormed as he moved to attack her. He grabbed her by her neck and this made her eyes bulge out as he
was choking her without a care in the world. She struggled to break free, but she couldn’t and none of her family members came forward to help her.
Not her father, nor her mother. If anything, they looked happy with what Jeremy was doing.
“The fact that I didn’t contact you should have told you that we were done, but delusion really runs in your stupid head,” Jeremy growled.
She had been a game like most of the women in his life and he had gotten what he wanted from her, there was no need to act like a gentleman any longer.
“You should have just stayed out,” he stated as he pushed her away. She immediately fell to the ground and started coughing while taking deep breaths.
“I made a bet with my friends and your sister, I took your virginity and fucked you. I won the bet, end of story. Get over it,” Jeremy told her.
“Did you really think you had a chance with my son?” She heard Jeremy’s mother ask her, after which she heard her sister laugh at her.
Her head spun, and she couldn’t quite process the emotion she was feeling. Hurt, anger, a thirst for revenge all coursed through her veins at once, and they were strong.
Slowly, she started to laugh, and this made the others look at her as though she was crazy. “He was right, you indeed didn’t wait for me,” she stated, and a slight frown appeared on Jeremy’s face as he wondered who she was talking about.
Zabelle got back on her feet and she faced Jeremy once more. “Let me ensure you don’t make anymore bets,” she stated as she hit him in the place that would hurt the most. A silent scream escaped from his lips as he clutched his balls in pain.
Before anyone would hit her once more, she backed away from everyone. They all looked like they wanted to kill her, and that was a good thing in her books. “Guards!” Jeremy’s father yelled, and she knew it was time for her to get out of there.
Turning, Zabelle quickly headed out of the mansion and started to run, but before removing her heels and clutching them. She knew it wasn’t a wise choice to offend Jeremy while he was in his territory, but she couldn’t help it.
She didn’t look back to see if the guards were following her as she ran. All she cared about was getting the hell out of there. Surprisingly, she didn’t hear any guards behind her, and she heaved a sigh of relief when she made it past the gates.
However, that relief was caught short when she realized that she left her purse in the mansion. “Shit!” Zabelle cursed in anger. Not only was her phone in the purse, the keys to her apartment and her credit card were in there.
Not only couldn’t she call for a ride, she had no money to even take a taxi! Her eyes went wide when she felt a raindrop on her shoulder. Why did it have to rain at that moment?
“Ahh!” she yelled as she knew she couldn’t go back and get it. Seeing that there was nothing she could do in that regard, she started walking aimlessly. Soon after, the rain started pouring heavily, with her having no shelter.
The tears formed in her eyes and this time, she didn’t stop them after all, there was no one who would see her cry. She was a fucking bet, and she had fallen right into that bet. Her legs caved in, and she sat on the ground in the middle of the road to
cry.
It was already late and there weren’t any cars on the deserted road. The only man she had ever loved had not only broken her heart, he had stabbed her in the back, and the fact that her family stood there and watched broke her even further.

intention of getting up to seek shelter in the hopes that the rain would wash away her pain or that everything that happened would be a dream.
Her heart ached as the memories from the past hit her. She had wasted years on a man that regarded her as a bet. Before she started dating him, she dedicated her life to him.
She remembered how she used to do his assignments back when they were in high school and how she would take the blame for things he did, one of which cost her an admission into college. Zabelle chuckled as she realized how big of a fool she was.
There was a sudden bright light and Zabelle realized a car was approaching her. She quickly got off the road and moved to the side of it. However, the car stopped where she was and when the windows came down, she found two mean–looking men in it.
Warning bells went off in her head and she started to run without thinking about it. The car started to follow, and her heart pounded in her chest as she knew there was no way she would be able to outrun a car.
Sure enough, the car pushed her to a corner. The door opened, and the two men stepped out of the car.
“Well, well, if it isn’t Miss Pretty over here,” one of the men mocked her.
“W–who are you?” Zabelle asked in fear. Her heart dropped when she saw the other man begin to take off his belt. No! She yelled in her mind as she tried to run.
However, she was caught. The man who had let down his belt immediately pounced on her, and she used her hand to scratch his face. Thankfully, her nails were done, which made them extra–lethal.
“You bitch!” the man roared as he brought out a knife.
“W–wait no!” Zabelle gasped as he plunged the knife into her stomach.
“I was going to kill you after fucking you, but now, I’ll fuck you in your blood.” The man’s words sounded distant in her head as she could feel her consciousness slipping from her body.
No, if she was going down, she was dragging them all the way to hell with her. Removing the knife from her stomach, she plunged it into the stomach of the man who had stabbed her, and she smiled when she saw his shock ridden face.
His partner, who had been holding her, immediately let go of her and rushed to him. Clutching her stomach, she saw that as a chance, and she turned to start running. That was however difficult as she had been injured, and every step was torture for her.
Not being able to handle it anymore, her body gave up on her and she collapsed.
“I’m going to kill you,” she heard the man say to her as he made his way to where she was. So this was how she would die? In the hands of a man who wanted to rape her after being betrayed by her lover.
As Zabelle’s eyes started to close, she noticed another car making its way to where she was.
“Shit, let’s get out of here,” she heard distantly. She couldn’t quite process what was happening, but it seemed the men were running away.
‘Help,‘ Zabelle screamed in her head as she hoped the car would stop and help her. She didn’t want to scream in her head, as she didn’t want–to die, not before getting her revenge on Jeremy and her family.
She heard footsteps approach her, and she slowly opened her eyes to find no one other than Antonio in front of her.
“This is interesting,” he remarked without a pitiful expression on his face.
“P–please s–save me,” Zabelle pleaded with him.
