Antonio wanted nothing more than to break the woman who had assaulted him in the elevator that day, and if all had gone according to his plan, that would have been happening.
However, things had changed now that his mother had gotten involved and made him make that stupid promise.
Why did it feel like she knew about how their relationship actually was, hence the reason for the promise? He pondered.
Regardless of whether she knew or not, it didn’t change the fact that he had made the promise and now, he was at a crossroad between taking revenge and keeping the promise he made to his mother.
He hated breaking his word but at the same time, he had promised Zabelle that he would teach her a lesson. Her white dress shone and he turned to face her.
Here he was in a predicament as to what he was to do and she was busy enjoying her sleep. The urge to wake her up just for the fun of it hit him, but he decided to ignore it.
He was tired and would think of a plan the next day. For now, he decided to focus on trying to get sleep.

Jeremy watched as the host announced the marriage of Zabelle and Antonio, and he gulped down another glass of alcohol. He couldn’t believe he had actually lost to that son of a bitch, and his blood boiled in anger as he remembered how his father lost his temper when he informed him of what had happened to his mother.
The old man had employed a lot of resources to find his wife, but he was unable to do so, and Jeremy clenched the glass as he remembered that part.
How did Zabelle manage to bag Antonio? He asked himself, and this wasn’t the first time he was asking himself that question, and why was she still with that kind of person.
It just didn’t make sense. Zabelle was kind, and there was no way the woman he knew would look at Antonio, let alone marrying him.
Was she being forced to marry Antonio? His face brightened upon that thought as that was a huge possibility and he needed to get to the bottom of the matter. Without wasting time, he called the head of the investigation team to look into the matter immediately and return to him with a good report as soon as possible.
Zabelle opened her eyes and she found herself in an unfamiliar room. Had they arrived? She asked herself as she sat up on the bed. It looked like it, but where was Antonio?
Without wasting time, she got up and headed out of the room so she could find him.
As soon as she stepped out of the room she heard the sound of laughter and it was a woman’s as well as male’s voice.
Was she in the right place? She frowned as she wondered who the people that were laughing were. When she got to where it was coming from, her eyes widened in horror upon seeing her sister and Antonio laughing.
“What the fuck?!” She exclaimed loudly, and the two turned the attention to her.
Hello dear sister. I’m here for Antonio, just like I took Jeremy away from you,” Vanessa chuckled just as Antonio leaned in to
kiss her sister.
Zabelle’s eyes suddenly looked down at her wedding dress and she saw that it had now been stained with red stains, making

She screamed in horror as she jerked out of bed. She clutched her chest and could feel her heart pounding rapidly over the nightmare she just had.
It felt so real, and her heart dipped as she didn’t want it to be for real. Even though their marriage wasn’t like normal marriages, she wasn’t keen on having her sister steal her husband especially after her ex–boyfriend.
It took a few more seconds for her to come down, and when she did, she noticed that she was in a room. When she looked outside the window, she saw that it was already bright.
There was possibly no way it could be the next morning. How did she sleep so deeply? She questioned herself when she go out of bed.
Antonio wasn’t in the room and she started pounding once more as she remembered the dream she had just had.
“Antonio?” She called as she stepped out of the room. Are you kidding me? She asked herself when she stepped out and saw that she was in a mansion.
She hadn’t even mastered the one back at home completely. How was she supposed to navigate this mansion, and also how many mansions did he have?
“Antonio,” she called him and she started to look for him. She managed to find the stairs and she headed down. If she knew Antonio well as she thought she did, there was supposed to be a study in the mansion.
Seeing as he liked to spend his time in a study back at home, she assumed he’d be there and she set out to find him.
After minutes of wandering around aimlessly she managed to find it, but it was empty and her heart dipped once more as she remembered the dream.
No, there was no way Antonio could cheat on her, especially after knowing what Jeremy did.
He even kidnapped her due to what her parents did to her. She was just overthinking it.
Seeing as he wasn’t anywhere in the house, she went back to the room when she had come out from her and looked for her phone so she could give him a call.
She found it on the bedside and she proceeded to call Antonio.
He however did not answer the call and she called him once more as she was getting increasingly worried. Where did he go? She asked herself.
Just as she was about to call him again for the third time, her phone vibrated as she had received a text.
It was from Antonio and it was simply three words ‘Don’t call me that was the content of the tears and her heart as she could feel the coldness in his voice.
Why did it feel like it had started? He had started to teach her a lesson, she thought to herself. Wanting to see if she was just overthinking or if it was the truth or not, she texted bin back.
‘Where are you? The house is empty and I do not see anyone here and I’m starving, she told him.
She knew how he did like her skipping her meals, and that was aside from reasons due to her being sick. If he was fine, then he would call and ask her to get something.
‘Good luck with that, That was Antonio’s response and she saw him go offline in the next seconds.
She was right, it had started, and her heart dipped as tears welled up in her eyes.

They had been fine just–the previous day. He had acted normal to her. She had to give it to him, he was a really good actor.
Her eyes skimmed down to her wedding dress and even though it was white, it was only filling her life with darkness.
Not wanting to be in it anymore, she looked for the bathroom so she could shower and change out of it.
When she came out, she saw their suitcases in the corner of the large room, and she walked there so she could change into a fresh set of clothes. Just as she was done, her phone rang, and she rushed to it, in the hopes that it was Antonio who was calling her.
However, the excitement died when she saw that it was her father who was calling her.
“Hello,” she greeted as she answered the phone.
“Tell your husband to release my daughter. He said he would release her after the wedding and you two are already married,” her father got straight down to the point.
How was she supposed to tell Antonio when she didn’t know where he was, and he was avoiding her calls. However, her father didn’t know that, nor would he ever know.
“I’ll tell him that. Is there anything else?” Zabelle asked her father. Maybe a congratulation on the wedding or something, she added in her head.
“Tell your husband to release her,” these were Gabriel’s last words before he disconnected the call.
Not thinking too much over her father’s words, she proceeded to text Antonio, so she could ask him to send Vanessa home.
It had been two weeks of not being able to use the things she loved the most and she wondered how Vanessa had been holding one
Zabelle was clueless about what Antonio had done to Jeremy’s mother as he didn’t tell her and Jeremy couldn’t as well as Antonio had threatened him to make sure that Zabelle wasn’t included.
Taking a deep breath, she proceeed to text him so whenever he came online, he would see it.
