Chapter 116
The morning light broke through the curtains, and it hit Vanessa’s eyes sharply.
She groaned softly due to the bright light suddenly hitting her eyes and having no other
Fchoice.
she opened them.
Her hands immediately went to her head as it was pounding.
Something was off, she said to herself.
Her limbs felt heavy, and apart from the fact that her head was pounding, she felt dizzy,
That appeared to be the least of her problem, as when she looked around, she saw that she wasn’t in her room.
She blinked against the light, allowing her eyes to adjust to the scene around her.
There was no doubt about her being in an expensive hotel room, but how did she come to be there was the question she asked herself
As she looked around, she noticed her dress on the floor, and the faint scent of cologne clung to the air.
Her heart immediately sank as memories of the previous night came flooding back.
“No, it can’t be, she muttered to herself in denial. Yet when she looked down, her suspicion was proven, she was naked.
“Shit! Vanessa cursed, and she clutched the sheets to her chest
There was a man in the bed beside her, his face turned away, his hair tousled from sleep. Panic surged through her veins as she shook his shoulder roughly.
He wasn’t Antoniol
“Wake up!” she hissed, her voice sharp,
The man stirred, groaning softly before turning to face her. Her breath caught in her throat as recognition struck.
The waiter.
He was the same man who had served her drinks the previous night.
How did he
Her blood ran cold as realization dawned. She stared at him, her eyes wide, as the events of the night slowly pieced themselves together.
The drink…..Antonio’s casual demeanor…her sudden dizziness and blackout.
“No,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “No, no, no. This isn’t right. This wasn’t supposed to happen!” she cried out,
The waiter, still sleepy, sat up and rubbed his eyes. “Morning, Vanessa,” he said, his tone far too casual for her liking, and the urge to stab his throat.
hit her
She recoiled, her face contorting with disgust. “What the hell happened last night?”
He smirked, leaning back against the headboard. “You don’t remember? That’s a shame. You were quite enthusiastic”
Her stomach churned as she clutched the sheet tighter. “This wasn’t supposed to happen! You were not the one I was supposed to sleep with,
The waiter shrugged, unboilered, “No idea. You were the one all over me by the end of the night. Guess he wasn’t interested.”
Vanessa’s mind spun as she tried to process his words. Autonio must have found a way to drug her. That bastard had outsmarted her, and now
Her phone buzzed on the nightstand, and she picked it up, desperate to find a way to escape the reality she had woken up to.
However, what she saw made her blood freeze.
Her name was trending. She hadn’t done anything to make herself trend, which meant that it wasn’t for a good reason.

Chapter 110
With shaking hands, she opened the first notification, and her worst fears were confirmed.
Pictures of her leaving the bar with the waiter flooded the internet, accompanied by captions that mocked her.
How was that possible when she didn’t leave the club with the waiter. It was a lie.
“Vanessa cheating on Jeremy! Guess loyalty isn’t her strong suit”
“Caught in the act! Vanessa and the mystery man sneak off from the club!”
“Vanessa’s scandalous night exposed.”
Her breath hitched as she scrolled through the posts, each one worse than the last.
The
comments were brutal, dragging her for her actions and questioning her character.
She flung the phone onto the bed, her hands trembling with rage. “This can’t be happening”
She was supposed to be the one everyone loved and adored, not hated.
The waiter chuckled, unbothered by the chaos. “Looks like someone had a rough night.”
Vanessa turned to him, her eyes blazing. “Get out,” she snapped. “Now,”
He smirked, grabbing his clothes from the floor. “Whatever you say, sweetheart. But for the record, you weren’t complaining last night.”
She hurled a pillow at him, barely missing his head, as he laughed and left the room.
“By the way, Antonio sends his regards”
As soon as the door clicked shut, Vanessa collapsed onto the bed, her head in her hands.
She had planned to humiliate Antonio, to plant seeds of doubt in Zabelle’s mind and get what she wanted.
But instead, she had humiliated herself, and now the whole world was watching.
She reached for her phone again, as she knew people would have texted her regarding it.
“What the hell is this. Vanessa?”
That was Jeremy’s message to her.
Her heart dropped when she saw that she had messages from her father
“Come home. You have a lot of explaining to do.”
Her grip tightened on the device as tears of frustration welled in her eyes.
Antonio had played her, and now she was paying the price.
But she wasn’t done yet. If he thought this would silence her, then he had another thing coming.
She would find a way
y to turn this around. She had to for all the times he had defeated her.
For now, though, she would have to deal with the biner taste of her own failure.
