Chapter 48
“Jeremy,” Zabelle called as she squeezed herself through a group of dancing females just so she could find her boyfriend.
Her head throbbed, and she was reminded of how much she hated parties, the loud music, the dancing, the yelling, the smell of alcohol, she hated it all.
The only reason why she was even there was because it was Jeremy’s birthday, and they were celebrating it in one of his father’s hotels.
Where the hell was he? She asked herself. He had asked her to be there, knowing how much she disliked parties and now, he was nowhere to be found to keep her company.
“Hey,” she bumped into someone and when she turned, she saw that it was one of Jeremy’s
“Where’s Jeremy?” She inquired.
“I have no idea,” the friend responded, and she cursed in anger.
friends.
“You’re too uptight, lighten up,” he said as he grabbed a cup from someone that was passing by. “Drink up,” he urged her as he stretched his hands towards her.
“No, thank you, I don’t drink,” she stated as she continued moving to find Jeremy.
After scanning the entire club without being able to find him, she headed out of it and walked onto the grounds of the hotel to a quiet place so she could gather her thoughts.
She had barely stood for five minutes when she felt a sharp pain in her neck.
“Ah!” she groaned as she tried to see who had just injected something in her, but she found herself unable to do so as her body turned numb
Her legs shook, and it was suddenly unable to carry her weight, which caused her to fall backwards. She was however caught before that happened, and the person carried her..
“It’s time for me to have my fun with you pretty girl,” she heard man’s voice and although it sounded distorted in her head she was able to make out what he was saying.
Her vision became blurry, and she was unable to make out the man’s face.
She opened her mouth to scream, but no words came out and no matter how much she tried, her body refused to listen to her commands.
What kind of drug was contained in the injection the man had even her? She wondered.
Her eyes felt heavy, and she rasped heavily in order to keep them open. She saw the man get into an elevator with her, after which he brought her to her room.
“Here we are,” she heard him say to her as he dropped her on the bed. She tried to get up and run, but just like the other times, she found herself unable to do so.
A gasp escaped from her lips when the man grabbed her hand and handcuffed it to the bed, after which he did the same to the other hand and legs.
The next thing she heard was the ripping of clothes, and she hoped it wasn’t her own, but her hope was dashed when she felt the man’s cold hand on her naked body.
Someone, please save me, she screamed in her mind as tears bean to drop from her eyes.

Chapter 48
“Fuck, you’re beautiful and endowed in the right places,” the man said to her as he squeezed her breast. “Now, let’s get this on camera, shall we
“Those were the last words I heard before I lost consciousness,” Zabelle told Antonio in a shaky voice, her head buried in
shame.
“When I woke up, I was in Jeremy’s house, and he said he had rescued me before the man could do anything, but that the man had escaped.”
“That’s what happened in that three hundred and six,” Zabelle concluded as she wiped the tears that were streaming down her cheeks.
She wondered how Antonio had found out about it, as it was something that was private between her and Jeremy. His investigation team had to be the best in the world.
Antonio sighed as he looked at the woman who was shaking where she stood. So what Jeremy was threatening him with, was releasing Zabelle’s nudes.
The asshole must have kept the pictures instead of deleting it, and his blood boiled over the fact that Zabelle had dedicated years of her life to someone who didn’t even respect her as a person.
What was worse was the fact that she didn’t know her ex–boyfriend had kept those pictures and was now using it to blackmail him.
“Sit on the bed,” he instructed her, and she did as he asked her. When she was seated, he knelt down in front of her, and he saw Zabelle’s eyes widen in horror as it was unexpected.
“Do you remember anything that can help me find the man?” he asked.
He wanted to find the bastard who had been responsible for what happened to Zabelle and make him pay to the point where death would look like heaven.
“I don’t remember anything, the drug he injected me with distorted my vision as well as my hearing that night. I’m sorry,” Zabelle apologized.”
She wondered if this would be the dealbreaker for Antonio.
Was this going to be the point where he decided not to go ahead with the wedding as he didn’t want a woman that was tainted not once but twice? She would understand if that was his decision.
“It’s not your fault, Zabelle,” Antonio told her. Maybe he wasn’t as cruel as he thought if he was comforting Zabelle instead of capitalizing on what he had just heard.
He became distracted when he heard his phone ring and his eyes darkened as what were the odds that it was Jeremy calling
him?
“I have something important to take care of. We’ll continue this conversation later,” he told Zabelle who nodded. “Eat dinner before I come back and use your medication.”
Those were his last words to her before he left the room and just as he had suspected, it was Jeremy calling him. “Have you gotten your answer yet?” Jeremy asked him as he answered the call.
“Yes, I have, and I’m ready to cut a deal,” he told Jeremy.
“Ull send you the address where I’ll give you Vanessa. Be there in twenty minutes.” He immediately hung up. disconnected the call.
