“Oh my goodness, Mr Garcia is going to flip when he sees how beautiful his bride is, the makeup artist said as he did the finishing touches on her face.
Zabelle found it hard to believe that it was already time for the wedding. It felt just like yesterday when she had met Antonio and now, she was marrying him in a few minutes.
She remembered the conversation she had with him on the balcony that night, where she had pleaded that he take it easy on her.
Antonio didn’t say anything in respect to that, instead he had told her that it was time to get to bed, and so she was clueless as to whether he was going to consider her pleas or not.
She barely saw him or spoke to him afterwards after that, as he had to leave the country for some important work. She couldn’t believe she was actually going to marry Antonio Garcia.
Zendaya wasn’t happy about it yet, she wasn’t completely sad. She knew the life ahead of her was going to be tough until Antonio decided that he wanted nothing to do with her, after which he would toss her out and she would be back to square
one.
However, he sheltered her from her family and that was something, she sighed as she stared at herself in the mirror. Which was worse? Zendaya wondered, even though she knew that there was no escaping Antonio.
She remembered when she was younger and how she dreamed of her wedding day. However, this was not what she had imagined. For starters, it was supposed to be with Jeremy, and she was supposed to be happy.
A knock on the door broke her out of her thoughts, and when she turned, she saw that it was William at the door. “It’s time to leave,” he told her, and she nodded.
When he left, she blinked back the tears that were threatening to fall. Her father and mother had refused to come. She remembered how her mother called her the worst thing that happened to them and the reason why her sister wasn’t with
them
It wasn’t as though she didn’t try to get Antonio to release Vanessa, he had refused, and she knew when not to push it. She wondered if they would have attended had Vanessa been there with them. After all, they were still her family and she wanted them there.
Since they had however chosen not to be there, William had offered to walk her down the aisle, and she had no problem with that. Taking a deep breath, she got up and was assisted to the car. “How are you feeling?” William inquired after she was seated in the car.
“Nervous. I feel like my heart is going to burst out of my chest,” Zabelle responded, and William gave her an understanding
smile.
She wondered if Antonio was also feeling the same way, but she doubted it, as she had never seen him nervous of anything, She hadn’t seen him in three days, as Alicia had made them observe the tradition of the bride and groom not seeing each other before the wedding.
“I understand how you feel, I felt the same way when I was getting married to Alicia,” she heard William, and she found it out to believe that he was nervous. After all, he and his son were very alike,
“You don’t believe me, William observed, and Zabelle nodded. really was. It felt so surreal, and I couldn’t believe I was getting married after swearing not to,” he revealed.
“But just like that the wedding came, and I’ve been married for years now. You’ll do fine. Just take deep breaths and remember that you now have a loving family.”

Tears welled up in her eyes once more, and she nodded in agreement. “Thank you.”
“I should be the one thanking you for coming into Antonio’s life William shook his head. “My son and I may not be on the best of terms, but I still love him and look out for his happiness,
The familiar guilt she felt whenever she was around Antonio’s parents hit her. They had so much happiness, and they were lying to them continuously.
“Now come, let’s officially go and make you a member of the Garcia family,” he said to her as they arrived at the venue where the marriage was happening-
Both of them got out of the car, and they started to walk.
Zabelle knew that Alicia and Marceline planning her wedding meant that it would be a grand event, but nothing prepared her for this big of an event, she thought to herself as she looked around.
All she had to do was to make decisions about what she liked and what she didn’t, she didn’t get this involved in the wedding planning, and she wondered how Alicia managed to pull these off in two weeks.
There were hundreds of guests sitting in the hall and all of them were significant people.
Zabelle recognized a few businessmen and some political figures seated, the rest she didn’t know who they were, and she wondered how the Garcias knew so many people.
It wasn’t however shocking to see so many important guests, as the family she was marrying into was a very influential family.
After all, this was, according to the media, the biggest wedding of the year. The most eligible bachelor was getting married.
Prior to the present day, the netizen had made their investigations about which family she was from, as people were curious
to know.
Her last name helped them a lot, and it made people speculate about her being the first child of the Pierce family. She didn’t really look like any of her parents and so the internet became divided as to whether it was true or not.

However, Zabelle had no business with any of that as what she was dealig with was much more important.
