Chapter 59
“Good, I need to see more of that,” Alicia told her son.
“Hmm, I’ll try my best,” Antonio told his mother as he took the phone from Zabelle. “We have to go now mom, we’ll talk to you later.”
Without giving his mother time to respond, he disconnected the call after which he turned to face Zabelle who was already making her way back into the room.
He stretched his hand and grabbed her. “We need to talk.”
“No, we don’t,” Zabelle told him. She had texted him multiple times in the past hoping that he would want to talk, but he had ignored her, and she planned on doing the same to him.
“Mom, you’re here,” she remarked as she looked behind him. Heimmediately turned to look at his mother and when he did, he didn’t find Alicia standing behind him.
The sound of the door closing made him turn back to realize that Zabelle had played him, and before he could open the door, he heard a click indicating that she had locked it.
Hissing under his breath, he banged the door in anger. Trying to break the door was useless as it wouldn’t break so easily.
Groaning, he went back to the room he had slept in. Not only had she taken over his room, she had locked him out of it.
He should have dropped her in one of the smaller rooms back when they had just arrived.
Zabelle heaved a sigh of relief when she heard Antonio walking away, and she immediately climbed into the bed.
Her headache though not gone had reduced substantially and all she wanted to do was to go back to sleep as she was still tired.
When she woke up, she would decide where to go next. Yawning, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep faster than she expected.
Gabriel parked his car outside the house, which was on the outskirts of the city, and he got out of the car. He slowly made his way in the house and as he got in, he was met by the two men he had assigned there. “Sir, we didn’t know you were coming,” one of the men said, and he waved his hand dismissively.
“It was an impromptu decision, now where is he?” Gabriel inquired.
“He’s tied up in the basement,” the man answered, and he immediately headed down there.
As soon as the man he intended to see heard footsteps, the sound of mental clicked as the man moved.
“Hello, did you miss me?” Gabriel asked the man who stared at him in contempt.
“Oh, come on, don’t look at me like that,” Gabriel pouted as he took his seat in front of the man, not minding that it was on the floor.
As soon as he was on the floor, the man moved to attack him but the chain he was bound to wasn’t long enough, and so he couldn’t reach him which made Gabriel chuckle-
*Before you try to kill me, I brought you good news,” Gabriel sa as he brought out his phone and placed it on the ground.

Chapter 59
When the chained man–looked down, he saw that it was a picture of Zabelle, and he moved to grab the phone, but like the first time, his chain wasn’t long enough.
“She’s beautiful, isn’t she?” Gabriel smiled as he looked at the picture Zabelle had posted the previous night.
“My daughter recently got married, and I’m pissed as hell,” a sneer appeared on his face.
“I made it my life’s mission to make her life a living hell for destroying my life and that plan seems to be going downhill ever since the bastard met Antonio Garcia.”
Looking at the man who was tied up, he noticed that his mouth was covered up and he smiled once more.
“Come on, say something!” Gabriel urged mockingly, and the man moved to hurt him again.
Irritated with how the man kept on doing so, he punched him and the man retreated.
“Good, now that you’re quiet, let’s continue our conversation.” Gabriel said.
“Not only is Antonio Garcia foiling my plans, he even went as far as to kidnap Vanessa, but you already knew that as I told you when it happened,” Gabriel told the man.
“Before Antonio Garcia came along, I was in control, and it’s time I regained my control by getting rid of Antonio.”
The chained man’s eyes widened in horror and he shook his head. “You don’t want me to get rid of Antonio?” He asked, and the man nodded in affirmation.
“Well then, now I have to get rid of him,” Gabriel stated as he stood up.
“Have fun here, I’ll be coming back soon to update you about all of the details.” With that, Gabriel turned and he left the basement.
“Rough him up a little and make sure no one finds out about him, or I’ll have all your heads,” he instructed the men before leaving the house.
The chained man was a secret he had kept for years, one he couldn’t afford getting out.
Getting into his car, he picked up his phone to make a call. Zabelle had made a huge mistake by posting the picture as it made him find out where she and Antonio were, which was to his advantage.
“Do the needful,” he instructed the receiver.
Just like he said, making Zabelle’s life a living hell was his mission in life, and he wasn’t going to fail it because of a fool that couldn’t mind his business.
Antonio Garcia was going down one way or another and when he did, there would be no one to save his daughter from him.
When Zabelle woke up, she felt a lot better and refreshed. Picking up her phone, she saw that it was already evening and her mouth dropped open on seeing how many hours she had slept for.
Getting up, she took a shower and got changed into a fresh set of clothes, after which she headed downstairs as she was starving due to not having eaten all day.
Upon getting into the kitchen, she paused in her steps when she saw Antonio in there cooking
Number one, why was he still there and number two, why was he cooking? Zabelle asked herself as she quietly turned to

“I already heard you,” Antonio stated without turning to look at her.

“Why are you still here, Antonio?” Zabelle asked for the umpteenth time, and she flinched when Antonio dropped what he was holding with a loud clink.
“This is my fucking mansion and I have the right to be here!” He yelled in annoyance over her persistence.
Wasn’t she the one who wanted him to come back to him, so why was she asking the same thing over and over again?
“I never said it wasn’t, but you haven’t been to ‘your‘ mansion for the last week because I’ve been here, so I asked again, why are you here?” Zabelle stood her ground, and Antonio didn’t know when he grabbed a knife.
“What, are you going to stab me with that?” Zabelle provoked him as she stepped forward. “Make it quick and painless.”
“Nice try, but I’m not stabbing you,” Antonio told her as he threw the knife into the wall.
“You still haven’t answered my question,” Zabelle pointed out, and he yelled as he pulled his hair due to how she was stressing him.
What did she want to hear? That the fact she compared him to Jeremy didn’t sit right with him, and it affected him more than he imagined, which was why he decided to stay back at the mansion.
Seeing as she wasn’t going to shut up about getting an answer, he decided to pull out his trunk card.
“Ask me that again and Meredith gets it,” he stated, and a scowl immediately appeared on Zabelle’s face.
Of course, he would retort to other means in order to evade the question. Rolling her eyes, she turned and walked out of the kitchen.
“Zabelle where are you going?” He asked as he followed her.
She wasn’t going back to the room, that was for sure, and a frown appeared on his face when he realized that she was going out the mansion.
“Zabelle!” He called in a bid to stop her, but she didn’t stop, and he rushed up to her.
“Where are you going?” He questioned after he stopped her,
“To enjoy my honeymoon,” Zabelle responded. “Or do you have a problem with that?”
“Yes, I will if you intend to drink,” he told her.
“I don’t drink, and I didn’t realize that what I was drinking yesterday was alcoholic,” Zabelle deadpanned, and Antonio was satisfied with her answer.
“Stay here, let me go and get changed so I can drop you,” he offered and Zabelle shook her head so hard she was sure if she stressed it more, it would fall off.
“No, I’m leaving to get away from you,” she stated, and Antonio clicked his tongue.
“Either I drop you or I’ll make sure the guards don’t allow you to leave,” Antonio told her, and it was her turn to click her tongue in annoyance.
What the hell had happened last night that made Antonio a different person.
