“Hmph, still trying to act tough when your life’s about to end? Let’s see if you can keep it up later!”
With that, he shoved me roughly into the passenger seat and slammed the door shut with a loud bang.

I pressed my face against the window, praying that Alpha Vucevic would turn around and save me.
But he didn’t. Not even a single glance back.
The car sped along, and suddenly a sharp pain gripped my stomach. Looking down, I saw blood streaming down the inside of my thigh.
My baby… my baby, who will save us?
I struggled and cried out in panic, but my hands were bound, and my mouth taped shut, leaving me only able to make muffled whimpers.
The thug driving the car sneered and looked over at me. When his eyes landed on the glaring bloodstain, he let out a chilling laugh.

I widened my eyes, terrified, as the car sped faster.
When the speedometer hit its limit, he suddenly yanked open the passenger door and kicked me out.
I tumbled onto the road like a discarded ragdoll, rolling several times before coming to a stop. My body felt like it had been shredded into pieces, every inch of me aching.
