I felt a wave of absurdity and was speechless, silently laughing at how he owed me these days and ignored our daughter.

I glanced sideways at him, letting out a derisive snort.
“Have some decency. Let’s part on good terms.”
Alpha Alexander stared at me without blinking, scrutinizing me, seemingly realizing I was not acting out of spite.
After a long pause, he finally uttered, “No.”
“Leona, if you dare to dissolve our bond, I won’t let you have custody of the child, nor will you be allowed to visit.”

I looked at him, stunned as if hit by lightning.
This was the first time he showcased his status and power before me, attempting to oppress and coerce me into compliance.
But he forgot that I contributed significantly to his current position!
Despite my hard work and sacrifices, he still sees me as someone who can only submit to him as his Luna. It’s truly laughable!
“If you refuse, I’ll expose the swap involving our daughter throughout the entire Pack until everyone knows. Then we’ll see if you can still hold onto your Alpha position securely.”

I looked back at him without fear.

At that moment, Aria gently tugged his finger, conveying a clear message.

Aria accompanied him, her face barely concealing her smugness and joy–likely excited at becoming the new Luna soon, she didn’t bother hiding it.
Alpha Alexander, however, maintained a posture of seeming reasonableness, looking down at me.

“Spare me the nonsense. Let’s get this over with. I’m disgusted just looking at you!” I interrupted him mercilessly.
Alpha Alexander’s face darkened immediately, and he spoke without hesitation.

I met his angry gaze and, recalling everything from the past, a smile of relief slowly spread across my lips.
