That evening, Frank called to accuse me, “Why are you so cruel? If you don’t like Tracy, just ignore her. Why
humiliate her like that?”
I was bewildered. “How did I humiliate her?”
“Evelyn! I thought you were a reasonable girl. I didn’t expect you to disappoint me so much.”
His angry reprimand left me momentarily stunned.
Before I could ask for clarification, he hung up in a rage.
It wasn’t until later that night, after I had finished washing up and was about to sleep that Lila sent me a social
media video.
In the video, a delivery man in a work uniform was shouting with a megaphone at the entrance of Frank’s lab building, “Today marks the seventh anniversary of Evelyn and Frank’s relationship. Evelyn wishes Frank and Tracy eternal happiness…”
This video took me by surprise.
I hadn’t asked the delivery man to do such a thing, yet he accurately mentioned Frank and Tracy’s names.
Frank assumed I was behind this and called to condemn me.
I laughed in anger and quickly scrolled through the comments section.
Lila sent me a message: [You’re too straightforward. Dealing with such shameless home–wreckers, this is exactly what should be done. She knew you were in a relationship and still seduced Frank. She’s really shameless!]
I replied helplessly [I didn’t do this.]

After saying that, Lila found it amusing herself.
I remained silent because I shared the same thought with her.

video footage, thereby identifying the protagonists, Frank and Tracy.
I initially thought this would be an ordinary gossip video, but as if someone was manipulating it, the buzz quickly
escalated.
Some began to search for information about me as if determined to uncover the truth of this love triangle.
I didn’t pay much attention because I thought the matter wouldn’t last long before it died down, but Frank came
to my door.
After a few days, his handsome face showed signs of fatigue, like a back bent under the weight of wind and
snow.
“Evelyn, stop it. Tracy is so scared she doesn’t even dare to leave her house. Can we keep our issues between us
and not involve her?”
He lowered his voice, almost pleading.
I laughed coldly, “Whether you believe it or not, I didn’t do this.”
Frank clearly didn’t believe me, his eyes filled with disappointment. “Do you have to ruin her?”
“What’s wrong with you? If you really want to know the truth, why not report it to the police and investigate
clearly? Don’t wrong me.
“If I did it, I would admit it. Similarly, I wouldn’t take the blame for something I didn’t do.”
He glared at me with gritted teeth. I took a step back and dialed the police number right in front of him. “I’m helping you call the police. You’re welcome.”
