Eugenia’s face turned pale and she said stubbornly, “I won’t! Brother, you obviously doubt me. You actually doubt me for Janette. I saved your life, but why do you doubt me for her?” Hearing Eugenia’s scream, my brother finally let go of her hand.
He still believed that the person who saved him was Eugenia, so he had never had the heart to let her get hurt.
“I’ll trust you just this once,” My brother snorted coldly, ordered people to keep Eugenia under strict watch and went alone to meet the big man who was rescued.
The big man told him the same truth as he told his father.
My brother took out a photo of Eugenia and me, then asked him who asked them to act. The big man pointed at Eugenia without hesitation.
My brother said nothing and slapped a card next to his bed before asking again, “Tell me who was there that night.”

The big man hesitated and my brother took out another card. “Is twenty million enough?” The big man’s eyes lit up and he quickly told him the information of the other people. My brother spent the whole day looking for all those people.
Each of them pointed at Eugenia’s photo without hesitation.
My brother had been working in the business world for many years and his suspicion and keenness as a businessman made him start to wonder if I had bribed these people to lie
for me.
But just as he had this thought, a phone call completely dispelled all his doubts.
“Mr. Hendrix, we fixed your phone. As for the recording inside, you’d better come and listen in person.”
