Bladack Eagle Pack–again, the Black Eaglel Packck.
I renaemebebered the scent of obsidian in Lio Granger’srls blood.
Could it bebe?..?
But there wasasano evidence right now. The most importananhthing was to help the brothers of Blackcppine.
After all, many of them were once comrades who fought side by side with me. I couldn’t bear to see the pack ruined because of Alpha Dorian Kingston’s foolishness.
I explained the situation to my father and took a few dozen soldiers to rescue them.
I assured my father that this was for the friends who fought and died alongside me- nothing to do with lingering feelings. I would still head to the training camp the next day, as planned.
When I arrived at the battlefield, it was a horrific sight–wounded soldiers and even bodies everywhere.
The two sides were still engaged in a bloody battle.
In the crowd, I spotted that rogue king from
three years ago–Frank, the Alpha of the Black Eagle Pack.
He was locked in a fierce fight with Beta Archer of Alpha Dorian Kingston’s pack, both evenly matched.
I let out a battle cry, charging straight towards Frank.
“Oh, beautiful little she–wolf, you’ve come back, Frank said teasingly, “Let me savor your flavor for a moment.”
I ignored his provocation and plunged directly into the fray.
I may have been small in stature, but I was quick and nimble.
Seizing my chance, I pounced like a cheetah, swiftly climbing onto Frank’s back.
Frank roared, trying to shake me off, but I clung to his fur, sticking to him like a piece of taffy, preventing him from unleashing his strength.

our layout and internal affairs. I suspect there may be a traitor among us.”
My brow furrowed, but that was beyond my purview. I comforted him, saying, “Regardless, let’s focus on healing first and then uncover the traitor. Take care of yourselves.”
With that, I took my leave with my soldiers.
The next day, I boarded the plane on schedule, heading abroad to participate in a year–long training camp for tribal leaders.
All the past had become a distant memory; today marked the beginning of a new life.
Upon arrival at my destination, I accidentally tripped and fell as I exited the airport.
To my surprise, I landed in a strong embrace.
Immediately, the crisp aroma of cedar enveloped me, captivating my senses.
“My destined mate! It must be my destined mate!” my wolf, Phoenix, exclaimed excitedly.
I looked up in shock.
A handsome face came into view, with sharp features and sparkling brown eyes.
He was gazing at me, equally excited, with a glimmer in his eyes that spoke of our destined connection.
He was Alpha Cyrus, the heir of the largest werewolf pack in South America.
He was attending the tribal leader training camp alongside me.
A week later, I unexpectedly received a call from Alpha Dorian Kingston: “Celine Vaughn, I heard you’ve gone to the tribal leader training camp. How are you?”
I was puzzled as to why he would bother with such a mundane call; wasn’t he
supposed to be on his honeymoon with Liora Granger right now?
“I’m fine, no need to worry. What do you need?”
“Uh, thank you for your help, I mean, on the day Black Eagle attacked our pack again,” he asked cautiously.
“No need for thanks. I was just helping those brothers I once fought alongside. That’s all, don’t read too much into it,” I replied coldly.
“Celine Vaughn, I know you still care about
me, right? Will you come back? Please, Celine Vaughn, I’m begging you, will you come back?”
I had completely moved on from him; I didn’t understand why, after such a short time, he wanted me back. Not wanting to dwell on it, I hung up and blocked his number.
For the next year, I trained daily with Alpha Cyrus, learning, sharing dreams, and exploring each other’s worlds.
I finally experienced what true love was- a deep connection of souls, a resonance of hearts.
