I clenched my fists so tightly that my nails dug into my palms, and I couldn’t even feel the pain.
Swallowing my humiliation, I lowered myself to the ground and knelt.

Tammi destroyed all of my dreams, yet she wasn’t satisfied. She raised her foot and stepped on my hand, crushing it with all her strength.
The shards pierced into my palm, and the pain made me tremble as I spoke,
“I… I will never, ever… let you go…”
She looked at me provocatively. “Let me go? What a joke! It’s me who won’t let you go!”
“Strip her! Tie her to the pillar outside the office door! Let’s see who dares to seduce my husband again!”
The two of them looked thrilled, reaching for my clothes.
