The strong wind and waves forced everyone to keep retreating.
I squinted slightly and saw a dozen or so black–clad bodyguards jump out of the helicopter. Like well–trained soldiers, they held ghost assault rifles and stood side by side in a row, their gun barrels pointing directly at everyone on the scene.
In the face of such heavy weaponry, Shervin’s equipment was utterly insignificant.
Then, the helicopter in the center slowly landed, and a young man wearing military boots stepped down with long strides–Lain.

Shervin’s eyes widened as he shook his head repeatedly. “But I clearly saw K get blown up!”
“That was just a body double, you fool!”
Lain sneered, then without hesitation, shot him in the leg.
“You’re nowhere near qualified to replace K!”
Shervin collapsed to the ground, blood pouring from his leg as it couldn’t support his weight.
However, compared to the injury, this crushing defeat seemed to be even harder for him to accept.
