Chapter 99
[Sylvia, if you won’t, someone else will. Your sister is younger, fresher, and much more desirable than you]
Rage boiled inside me, my hands trembling. I forced myself to stay calm and studied the photo closely.
Clara hadn’t been gone long. They couldn’t have gone far. Judging by the setting, it looked like they were in a car. I thought, ‘A car… the parking lot! Without thinking twice, I turned my car around and sped toward the B1 and B2 levels.
rner of B2.
I remembered Wilbur’s car was a black BMW. Soon, I spotted a car shaking unnaturally in a corner
I grabbed the fire axe from the nearby emergency kit and charged toward the car, confirming the license plate and model. Yes, it was the right one. I raised the axe and slammed it into the windshield.
The loud crash startled the people inside, but I didn’t stop. I kept hacking, shouting. “Get out here, you bastard!” Finally, the car door opened. Wilbur, his pants barely on, looked like he was about to faint, his body trembling in fear.
I yanked him out of the car and stormed around to the passenger side, where Clara lay barely covered, her only remaining modesty being a thin scrap of underwear.
Anger and sorrow overwhelmed me, but somehow, I stayed composed. I wrapped Clara in my coat, gathering whatever strength I had left, and carefully carried her back to my car, settling her inside.
I locked the doors, took a deep breath, and fixed my hair, pulling back the loose strands. I then turned back to Wilbur’s car. He was trying to get dressed, visibly shaking.
“Sylvia, what the hell do you think you’re doing?” he stammered, his voice trembling.
I didn’t say a word. I took the axe and began destroying the hood of his car, then, without hurry, pulled out my phone and called the police: “Hello, I’m reporting an incident. Someone’s here raping my sister.”
Wilbur snapped. “Are you crazy? What nonsense are you talking?”
He lunged at me, trying to snatch my phone, but I raised the fire axe and pointed the sharp blade at him.
He froze. “You… you can’t do this… it’s illegal…”
“Wait until the police arrive, then you can talk about the law.”
Before long, the police showed up. But to my shock, they arrested me. They charged me with intentionally destroying property…
As they pushed me into the police car, despair hit me like a ton of bricks. I thought, ‘How has this happened? I called the cops, and now I am the one being hauled off?’
In a panic, I remembered Clara was still in my car, unconscious and alone. It was dangerous. “Please, let me make one call. My sister’s in the car, unconscious. She’s alone, it’s dangerous!”
They reluctantly allowed me to make a call. In my rush, I couldn’t think of anyone reliable to call.
I couldn’t call Martha–her health wasn’t good, and I didn’t want to stress her out.
I couldn’t call Dexter–he was the one who’d caused all this mess. In fact, this might all have been his plan from the start.

Chapter 99
I couldn’t call Holly either–it was too late to drag her into something like this.
Staring at my phone, I felt an overwhelming loneliness. I couldn’t believe how heavy it felt. A single tear dropped onto the screen, and before I realized it, the call went through–it was Jeremy’s number.
He answered quickly. “What’s going on?”
His calm, composed voice made it impossible to hang up. My throat tightened, and I could barely speak. “Dr. Norman, can you help me? 1… I’ve been arrested.”
