Chapter 14
The Golden Wolves Institute was a secret organization run by the wolves who possessed divine power, given by the Moon Goddess. They kept their watch on the pure souls, who despite being pure devotees of Moon Goddess yet suffered unconditionally in their lives. The Golden Wolves helped them in their rebirth in secret and guided them in their second life to not repeat their same mistakes.
The mysterious Professor I saw earlier was actually my mentor. He was given the duty of helping me in my second life. His name was Hades and he told me not every wolf gets the chance of joining The Golden Wolves Institute no matter how many times they take birth. I was special because I had been crazy about joining this institute.
I gave up on my dream in my previous life, but this time I didn’t repeat my mistake and decided to chase after my dream. That was what impressed Hades and he decided to help me out,
Now, I wasn’t any ordinary wolf but a wolf who was given divine power by the Moon Goddess with the responsibility of helping others who were in pain like I was before.
As the full moon rose high in the night sky, Dylan and Marcus, two werewolves from the dominant pack, felt an unsettling emptiness within. Their trip to the mountains had been a distraction, but now they were back, and the sudden dissatisfaction in their heart made them realize they were wrong in judging me.
They thought of me, their childhood friend and packmate, and the memories of our time together flooded their minds. But the pain of our last encounter still lingered. They could now see that Amy went a little overboard with me, leaving them with only questions and regret.
Determined to make amends, Dylan and Marcus arrived at the hospital, bearing gifts and supplements for my grandmother. But they were met with a cold refusal with two tall and strong werewolves. “Old Luna is under our protection. Please do not disturb her.”
The words stung, and Marcus’s temper flared. But Dylan, ever the calm and calculating one, restrained him. They knew that they were no ordinary werewolves, and that my grandmother’s status was shrouded in mystery.

“Where is Bella?” Dylan demanded, his voice low and even. “Let her come. out and tell you whether we are outsiders or not!”
But the response was curt and unyielding. “No need.”
The two werewolves were forced to retreat, their tails between their legs. Marcus seethed with anger, but Dylan’s concern deepened. Where was I? And why had I cut ties with them so completely?
As they drove to my family’s den, a sense of foreboding settled over them. The den was dark and empty, and the scent of dust and abandonment hung in the air.
Marcus’s anger turned to worry as they searched the den, finding only remnants of our past together. “Where could she have gone?” Dylan wondered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Then, they dispatched their loyal guards to scour the city, searching for me until the break of dawn. Every nook and cranny was explored, but I had vanished into thin air. My identification, financial records, and all other traces of my existence had been erased. The one person who knew my whereabouts was unreachable, and I, who had once been inseparable from them, had disappeared without a word.
Dylan and Marcus were consumed by worry and despair. They declined Amy’s invitation, their minds preoccupied with my disappearance.
“Where could she be?”
“Has she abandoned us?”
“Will she ever forgive us?”
The room was silent, with no one daring to respond. The vibrant and intelligent girl who had once been the center of their lives was gone, leaving behind only memories.

The pack’s elder, a wise and aged werewolf, placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. “You’re doing great, Ava. I was worried that the trauma of your past would hold you back, but you’re thriving.” The elder’s eyes shone with pride. “The future of our institute is in good hands with you young ones.”
“You are right, elder Victor. Bella is learning our methods really quickly.” Hades, my mentor, praised me in front of the head of the institute.

I smiled, feeling a sense of belonging and purpose. My new life as a golden werewolf was challenging, but it was nothing compared to the
hardships I had faced in my previous life. At least now, I had found a sense of community and acceptance.
I devoted myself to my training, honing my skills as a golden werewolf and learning from my mentor. But my focus was disrupted when I stumbled upon two familiar faces – Dylan and Marcus. They stood out among the other werewolves, their expensive clothing and confident demeanor marking them as outsiders.
I rubbed my eyes, wondering if I was seeing things. But they called my name, their voices unmistakable. Hade’s warning growl reminded me to be cautious. “Bella, be careful around these two. They’re not to be trusted.”
As Dylan and Marcus approached me, Marcus’s eyes narrowed, his voice taking on a possessive tone. “Bella, what are you doing here? You’re supposed to be with us, not running wild with these… wolves.” He spat the last word, his disdain for my new mentor.
