Alex slowly stood up and held Ellie tightly in his arms, reluctant to let go for a long time.
Over an hour later, they were in the VIP suite. As they entered, there were flowers, candles, fragrant aromas, and photos of the moment when Alex proposed to her at Skyline Plaza.
Even more astonishing was that a baby photo had suddenly appeared on the wall above the headboard of the bedroom bed. Ellie looked at the room, which had been transformed into a themed wedding suite, and turned her head in a daze to look at Alex beside her.
Alex’s gaze couldn’t be any gentler as he met her eyes. He took Ellie’s hand and drew her into his embrace. He lowered his head, and his warm breath lingered by Ellie’s ear.
He said, “Ellie, I’ve waited long enough. I can’t wait any longer!” He added, “If you’re not willing, I won’t force you!”
Alex’s intentions were so obvious that there was no way Ellie couldn’t notice. She had already accepted Alex’s proposal, especially since they had been intimate before.
Taking that step was bound to happen sooner or later. Since she had made a firm choice, there was nothing to hesitate about. Ellie blushed and nodded slightly.
Ellie finally agreed. Alex’s breathing sped up automatically. He gently kissed Ellie’s lips, as if she were a delicate and fragile
treasure.
He said, “Ellie, whether you believe it or not, my love for you is sincere. I want all of you and I will give you all of me.”
On this warm and cozy bed, Alex’s low and charming voice echoed. They spent a passionate night.
The first ray of sunlight in the morning seeped through the crack in the curtains, and Ellie was still asleep.
Alex took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth, but didn’t light it. His upper body was bare, and his muscular lines were clearly visible in the sunlight.
He lay on his side, looking at Ellie’s sleeping face in a daze, with love and tenderness in his eyes.
He took the cigarette out of his mouth and couldn’t resist lying down beside Ellie. He buried his head in the crook of her neck and took a deep breath, as if he wanted to keep her breath with him forever.
“If I let go one day, it must be that I’m no longer in this world.” He closed his eyes and suppressed his emotions, whispering.
When Ellie woke up, it was already afternoon. The scenes of last night kept playing in her mind, and her ears couldn’t help turning red.
Looking at the empty spot beside her, Ellie was just about to get up when she felt a wave of discomfort all over her body. She took a sharp breath and remembered the gentle words Alex whispered in her ear last night and their intimate actions.
Hearing Alex’s voice on the balcony getting closer as he talked on the phone, Ellie remembered the embarrassment of last night and quickly pulled the quilt over her head.
Alex hung up the phone and knelt by the bed. He gently tugged the quilt on Ellie’s head and found that she was holding it tightly. “I saw that you were awake,” he said with a smile.

Hiding under the quilt, Ellie listened to Alex’s hoarse voice and became even more flustered. She thought of Alex’s moans last night and her face turned red up to her neck.

Ellie stubbornly clung to the thin quilt and refused to come out. Alex simply picked her up, along with the quilt, and carried her into the bathroom.
In Ellie’s confusion, Alex pulled her out of the quilt and put her in the bathtub. He gently bathed Ellie until she smelled fragrant, and then picked her up again.
After the chaos, Ellie sat quietly on the bathroom counter in her pajamas, letting Alex dry her hair. She leaned her face against Alex’s chest, wrapped her arms around his waist, and talked to him with her eyes closed.
She asked Alex, “Alex, what did the experts say about
my memory loss?”
Alex’s hands paused noticeably. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down before continuing to dry Ellie’s hair. His fingers gently threaded through her long hair and said softly “There are no results yet.”
Not getting a response from Ellie, Alex turned off the hair dryer. He bent slightly and looked at Ellie at the same level. He said, “Ellie, let’s get married!”
Ellie was shocked by Alex’s sudden proposal. She widened her eyes and looked at Alex. When their eyes met, her eyes were full of surprise and doubt. “We’re already engaged. We can take our time with the wedding,” she said.
Alex placed his hands on Ellie’s waist and a complex expression flashed through his eyes, including expectation, helplessness, and deep love.
