Chapter 3
I forcefully swallowed, trembling all over my body.
In the corner of my eyes, Killian had the servant dragged out.
A winding blood trail was left on the floor.
“If she can’t even stop my wife from drinking, even hurting my son, there’s no point in living.”
I looked at his sinister eyebrows and eyes, and my stomach churned.
Timothee touched my face with heartache and said, “It’s all your husband’s fault. You’ve suffered so much. We finally have a baby now, so you’re not allowed to drink anymore.”
“This child must be born healthy no matter what, get it?”
I took several deep breaths before forcing out a dry smile and responded, “Okay.”

Chapter 3
But my heart was trembling with coldness.
In the three years since I got married, I got pregnant six times, but each time I had miscarriages for no apparent reason.
Too many times, it had become habitual miscarriage.
Half a year ago, the doctor declared that I would never be able to have children again.
Timothee hugged me and said that it did not matter if he did not have children, as long as I was happy and healthy.
I had always been worried about not being able to give birth to a healthy child for him. After inquiring from multiple sources, I decided to go with the difficult in vitro fertilization option.
My stomach was riddled with needle pricks, and I was given handfuls of hormone pills.
All the sufferings I had endured ended up being for Tatiana’s benefit.

Chapter 3
Just because she said she was afraid of pain, I would lose the qualification to be a mother forever and become a reproductive machine.
“What’s wrong? Your face looks so ugly? Are you feeling uncomfortable? I’ll get a doctor over right away.”
“I’m fine, I just have some morning sickness.”
The man’s eyes were red with distress, and he stroked my face gently. “You’ve worked so hard. I only regret that I can’t help you bear it. We got married in a hurry, and I ordered your favorite wedding dress to be air–shipped. I’ll take you to try it tomorrow before your belly gets bigger.”
I stared at him. His eyes were full of affection. He treated me like a fool and deceived me again and again.
If he knew that I had no intention of giving birth to this child, my fate would be the same as that of the servant just now.

Chapter S
I pulled the corner of my mouth and said,
“I’m going back to my room to rest, you guys have a chit–chat.”
As soon as I got back to the room, I could not help but rush to the bathroom and vomited until my stomach twisted into a ball.
Tears streamed down my face. The physical. pain was not even one–tenth of the pain I felt in my heart.
After a long while, I got up and came out, just in time to see Timothee’s mobile phone that he had forgotten on the coffee table.
I picked it up for some unknown reason and unlocked it after trying it only once using Tatiana’s birthday.
The screen saver of the mobile phone was a photo of Tatiana leaning on his shoulder, smiling like a blooming flower.
I flipped through the photo album one by
one.

Chapter 3
There were more than five thousand photos, and every one of them had Tatiana’s figure.
He used four folders to save and record Tatiana in different periods. Each folder had a note with only one word, which together read “Only Love in this Life“.
In their chat records, Timothee once risked his life to steal the crown of Queen of Arendale overnight.
I suddenly remembered the day when he was hit by two bullets and almost could not come back. It was me who brought my mother’s only relic, a priceless ancient rare diamond necklace amulet passed down from my ancestors, to buy him back from the royal family.
The reason was simply that Tatiana said that she wanted to enjoy the feeling of being a queen at her 25th birthday party.
Tears fell on the screen and my heart was broken.

Chapter 3
It was not that I felt heartbroken for being deceived for so many years, but that I lost the only thought my mother left me for such a devil who destroyed me.
Amidst blurred tears, my gaze fell on the crescent birthmark on Tatiana’s right shoulder, and my eyes widened in surprise.
I had the exact same birthmark on the same spot on my right shoulder.
I remembered when I met her, she did not have the birthmark on her body.
