Chapter 8
“This is all the idea of this woman, Tatiana. It has nothing to do with me. Boss, please spare my life.”
When she heard Killian turning the tables, she stopped pretending to be sick, jumped out of bed, and started punching and kicking him.
Killian’s leg was broken, but he was very strong. He grabbed her hair and pinned her to the ground.
The two of them instantly wrestled into a ball, fighting and cursing at each other, revealing all the dirty deeds they had done in the past few years.
They wished they could put all the blame on the other person.
The more Timothee listened, the more desperate he became. His entire heart felt as if it was pierced by a sharp blade and he sobbed in pain.

In three years, it turned out that Annabelle was the woman he loved the most, along with his six living children.
He was in excruciating pain, roaring and firing several shots in a row.
The other younger gangsters outside the door rushed in, and felt terrified by the
scene before them.
Timothee was covered in blood. He pointed at Killian, who was dying on the ground with his eyes wide open. “Drag him out and chop him into pieces and feed him to the dogs.” He ordered.
On the bed, his mobile phone vibrated.
Tatiana, who had been shot but not yet
unconscious, screamed and tried to snatch
- it.
But Timothee kicked her hard.
He quickly snatched the phone, thinking it was a message from me, and as soon as he opened it, the smile on his face froze.

In the video, I was lifted high up the crocodile pond.
“As you wish. I’ll fed them to my hungry crocodiles.”
“No ….” He roared in pain, only to find out when he left that there was a blackmail
message from his enemy and Tatiana’s
reply.
He ignored his anger and made a phone call in a panic. The man who had never changed his expression in the hail of bullets was now trembling and looking pale. As soon as the call was connected, he immediately begged. “One hundred million, no, two hundred million dollars, I’ll give it to you, all of it, save my wife immediately, now!”
There was a short, sneering laugh over the
phone.
Timothee immediately had someone
transfer two hundred million dollars.
One of the younger gangster tried to stop

him. “Boss, this is all the liquid cash we have on hand. Boss Jack is full of tricks, and your wife may not be in his hands. Maybe he is deceiving us. Let’s check it out first ….”
“Get lost!”
Timothee roared and without hesitation, transferred the money over.
In less than a minute, Jack Reagan said a few words, “I’m sorry, Boss Timothee, you were the one who said you wanted to feed the fish, but you were too slow to regret and the bones were all gnawed clean. I only found one shoe. For the sake of two hundred dollars, I have asked someone to pack it and send it back to you.”
Timothee slumped to the ground, completely stunned.
The blood–stained shoe was delivered quickly, along with my divorce agreement and the injury examination I left behind from eight years ago.

He held them in his arms in despair, crying and laughing like a madman.
At that time, I had already left Celestia and, with the help of my senior colleague, Felix Haute, boarded the plane of the Médecins
Sans Frontières.
Seeing me wake up, my companions who were around me were overjoyed. “Annabelle, you are finally awake. How does your leg feel? Fortunately, our surgical expert, Felix, is here. He has already taken out the nail. Your leg is saved.”
Looking at my legs wrapped in bandages and the concern in Felix’s eyes, I felt guilty and ashamed.
As the most promising surgeon in the past, I was surrounded by a group of like- minded partners.
At the peak of my career, I chose a man and gave up my future.
My partners, although regretful, also blessed me.

Especially my senior colleague, Felix, I still remembered the helplessness in his eyes.
Now that I had ended up in such a miserable situation, they were the only ones who did not abandon me and helped me escape from the cage.
Everyone in the cabin had kindness and forgiveness on their faces.
