Hearing Adeline, I narrowed my eyes. Her expression darkened.
“You were the one who got me expelled from school, weren’t you?”
“If it weren’t for you, my father wouldn’t have sent me abroad, and Logan wouldn’t have been forced to marry you.”
“Fiona, did you know? I spent three whole years abroad, plotting revenge against that snitch, until Logan told me the truth.”
Adeline slammed her hand on the table. “Fiona! I’ve waited for this day for so long!”
Even as Adeline’s arrogance filled the room, I maintained a faint smile.
“You’re right, I reported you.”
“But I don’t think I was wrong. You were always causing trouble, fighting, even breaking someone’s leg.”
“For people like you, I report every time without hesitation.”
Adeline’s face twisted in rage. “I admire your arrogance.”
“Fiona, do you know why I called you back?”
“This isn’t just a class reunion. I’m here for revenge.”
Adeline snapped her fingers, and a dozen well–built men in black burst into the private booth. They looked ready for a fight.
I leaned back, tapping my fingers on the table. “Adeline, this is your last chance. Think it over.”
“If you touch me today, you won’t be able to handle the consequences.”
“Even if you have the entire Liu family backing you…”
The sycophants around us erupted in laughter.
“Did you hear that? Fiona thinks the Liu family wouldn’t dare cross her.”
“This is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. A nobody challenging the elite Liu family from the capital!”
My former classmates quickly took sides, verbally attacking me to curry favor with Adeline.
Logan joined in. “Fiona, what are you shouting about? Look in the mirror and see what you’re like.”
“Forget Adeline, anyone here could put you in your place.”
I took a deep breath and slowly removed my wedding ring.
“Logan, from now on, we have nothing to do with each other.”
“As for Adeline, she’ll pay for her actions today.”
Adeline sneered. “You? Make me pay?”
“I’m in charge here. Even if I beat you to death, no one would dare arrest me.”
The crowd burst into laughter again. Seeing the familiar faces, I felt a profound sense of disappointment.

Is this what they call classmate camaraderie?
I was a top student, but I never felt superior. I always answered questions patiently. Now, all I get is mockery and disdain.
They don’t deserve to be called “classmates“!
Seeing me silent, Adeline thought I was afraid, becoming even more brazen.
“Stupid woman, either kowtow and apologize in front of the class, and we’ll let it go.”
“Or get your legs broken and crawl out.”
My eyes turned cold. “Adeline, you’ve crossed the line too many times. Do you really think you’re untouchable?”
Instead of backing down, Adeline got even more arrogant.
“Look at the men behind me. Any one of them could knock you down.”
“Quit pretending. Even if the king himself came, you’d still have to kneel!”
Just then, the booth door opened, and a large man entered.
Adeline quickly adjusted her clothes and greeted him with a fawning smile.
“Mr. Jack, what brings you here?”
Hearing her call him that, everyone turned pale. Logan retreated to a corner.
I remained seated, fingers tapping the table.
Mr. Jack scanned the room, and everyone fell silent.
He spoke slowly, “Whose Porsche is parked outside?”
