Trevor knew nothing about everything.
He suddenly realized that he had been communicating very little with Jocelynn lately, and he was c

He clenched the note in his hand and made a few phone calls to some of Jocelynn’s good friends.
Every time, he would ask eagerly. “Where did Jocelynn go? Do you know?”
The answers from the other party, without exception, seemed as if they had been prearranged.

“What happened to her? We haven’t seen her since the graduation defense. Did something happen to her?”
Trevor hung up the phone and immediately called Jocelynn’s parents. They surely knew where Jocelynn had gone
The sound that followed the ‘beep‘ of the phone surprised him even more.
“Hello, the number you dialled is invalid. Please double–check and dial again…”
He thought Jocelynn must have been angry.
So, the whole family blocked each other.
With this in mind, Trevor didn’t care about anything else. He hastily grabbed the car keys and rushed down to the garage to go to
Jocelynn’s hometown Highborough
After a journey of over ten hours, he called Jocelynn over ten times, but her phone was still switched off.
As he watched the scenery outside the window recede continuously, his heart became increasingly anxious.
The two of them were together for four years and hardly ever argued. Even their cold wars never lasted overnight. Every time, he just had to coax Jocelynn a little and she would make up with him.
This time, she left quietly, afraid…

Suddenly, he remembered that he had indeed noticed something unusual at home that day. Half of the things in the living room were

The car was driven by him very fast. It was a ten–hour journey, but he arrived in only seven hours.
The night faded away, and the sky turned a pale shade of dawn.
He had never been to Jocelynn’s hometown before. It was only during the New Year holiday when he bought her gifts a few times that he found out her home address.
But the address landmarks in the small town were not clear. Trevor followed the delivery address and found himself near Jocelynn’s house. He circled the low–rise buildings a few times but couldn’t determine the exact location of Jocelynn’s home.
He could only ask the nearby breakfast aunt, “Auntie, do you know where this address is?”
He handed over his phone as he spoke.
Auntie took a glance at his appearance and asked, “Are you from out of town?”
Trevor nodded, “Hmm, my girlfriend got angry and ran back to her hometown, I’ll go and comfort her.”

“I didn’t expect him to be such a romantic person.” The aunt smiled and gave him directions, “Go straight for eight hundred meters, turn right and walk through an alley for two hundred meters, then turn left. Be sure not to turn the wrong way.”
Trevor lowered his head and said, “Thank you, Aunt.”
He hurriedly walked over and climbed up to the fifth floor. After confirming the door number, he knocked on the door.
“Bang…”
“Jocelynn, I came to find you!”
But there was no response inside, so he knocked on the door loudly.
Still, no one opened the door, but the neighbor next door, on the contrary, opened the door and stuck their head out.
It was an elderly couple, they looked at him cautiously and asked, “Who are you? Why are you knocking on the door so early in the morning?
Trevor saw someone and hurriedly asked, “Uncle and aunt, is this Jocelynn’s house? I am her boyfriend and I have something to talk to her about.”
The couple looked at each other and exclaimed in surprise, “She doesn’t live here anymore. She had already sold the house to someone else half a month ago.”
“Sell it to someone else?!” Trevor exclaimed, he had no idea
He asked again, “Do you know where they moved to?”
The couple stared at him blankly, “Her parents died in a car accident halt a month ago. After the funeral, she sold this house. As her boyfriend, didn’t you know?”
Trevor’s body stiffened, completely frozen in place.
He didn’t know any of these, Jocelynn didn’t say a word to him either, what did he miss?
