Lindsey took out a piece of paper and, relying on her memories from her previous life, jotted down a list of performers who would become hugely popular in the future. After a moment of thought, she added the names of several top agents
“Let’s start with these. We can expand the list later, Lindsey said.
Florence held the list and furrowed her brows. “Henry Evans, a singer, and also a farmhand at Noble Oaks Farm in Newhavent What does that
mean?”
Most of the names on Lindsey’s list were unfamiliar to Florence, and the odd professions listed after the names had nothing to do with the entertainment industry, so she was confused.
“Henry Evans has a great singing voice and could be signed to our company as a singer. However, due to his family’s poverty, he currently works as a farmhand,” Lindsey explained.
Florence looked at Lindsey with a puzzled expression, unsure where she had obtained this peculiar list. She suddenly felt a bit regretful, thinking that everything Lindsey was doing seemed very unreliable.
Knowing that Florence didn’t quite believe her, Lindsey said, “Ms. Calloway, you should go and check it out for yourself to see if I’m right. Thank you for your trouble.”
After settling the company matters with Lindsey, Florence returned to Luminova and submitted her resignation, which delighted Patrick immensely. Without Florence as an obstacle, Luminova was now completely under his control.
Patrick called Olivia happily. “Olivia, great news. Florence has resigned.”
Olivia’s voice was filled with uncontainable joy. “At least she knows her place. She’s been lingering in the company for so long, delaying many of our plans.
“Now that there’s no one left in the company from Elaine’s side, it will be much easier for us to take money from Luminova. By the way, why did she finally decide to leave?”
Im not sure. Today Lindsey came and asked how much money was left in the company account, and Florence seemed quite displeased. After she went out with Lindsey, she came back and resigned, Patrick said.
Olivia analyzed the situation. “Could it be that Lindsey asking about the money right away made her unhappy? She thought it wasn’t worth bening on Lindsey, and staying with the company had no meaning, so she just threw in the towel?”
Patrick nodded. “That makes sense. Anyway, when Lindsey asked about the money, Florence was very angry. And she looked very troubled when she came back from outside.
After hanging up the phone, Olivia began to think that since Lindsey had set her sights on Luminova, she needed to find a way to get the shares in Lindsey’s hands as soon as possible.
After all, only then could Luminova truly be considered her property.

“Why do you say that? I’m just concerned about you. Your uncle knew you went to the company and called to let me know you were safe,” Olivia’s expression froze for a moment.
“Lindsey, be polite to Olivia. She’s been so kind to you, can’t you be a little nicer in return? It’s because she cares about you constantly that she knows you went to the company, Anthony put down the remote control with a shud and glared at Lindsey
Lindsey couldn’t help but frown. “My mother had no brothers, and I have no uncles. Ms Jennings, please be more careful with your words in the
future”
Olivia, realizing her slip, looked flustered and glanced nervously at Anthony.

uncle too, she stammered.
“Enough. Olivia, why are you explaining yourself to her? Patrick is her imcle. Lindsey, why did you feel the need to go to the company? Isn’t home enough for you?” Anthony was annoyed whenever he saw Lindsey going out, not kurowing what she was up to.
“I heard from Patrick that you asked how much money was left in the company account. Are you short of money? If you need money, just tell me,” Olivia put on a good guy act.
“She stays at home all day with food and drink provided, what could she possibly spend money on! And even if she were short, she shouldn’t be taking money from the company. That’s illegal Linbry, you’ve really been getting more and more out of control lately,” Anthony said, then turned to look for something.
“Anthony, what are you looking for? Olivia asked, puzzled.

Olivia’s lips slowly curled into a smile. She held back Anthony and kindly advised. “Anthony, don’t get so worked up. Lindsey might just be confused for the moment. Anthony turned around angrily. “Think much of? What qualifications does she have to look down on Mr. Wallace! Isn’t she short of money! Then leher go to Mr. Wallace, aber all, he’s so generous.”
With Olivia’s efforts to “calm him down, Anthony finally agreed to sit down and talk
Lindsey looked at them coldly. “Are you done? If you are, it’s my turn to speak. I did ask how much money was in the company account because I felt there was something off with the company’s finances.”
“Did you find any issues then?” Anthony asked irritably.
“Na. But there’s only 110 thousand dollars in the company account. Dad, does that seem normal to you!”
Anthony was taken aback as well, frowning as he asked, “How could it be so little?
“How should I know! You might want to ask the company’s management about this. Dad, be careful not to let the woll in the house,” Lindsey left with these words and went straight upstairs.
Anthony pondered with a furrowed brow for a while, then suddenly got up. Tm going to the company tomorrow”
