Chapter 239
When Tracy heard that her daughter had voluntarily recognized Sandra as her mother, her eyes went red, and she was overcome with emotion, her voice breaking
“It’s impossible! How could she call Sandra her mom? Robert, tell me this isn’t true!”
She collapsed into Robert’s arms, and if he hadn’t caught her, she might have fallen to the ground
At this point, Robert’s emotions were complicated, but he said, “Tracy, I think you need to accept reality”
Elaine had never nrally wanted to come back.
He had once hoped that if Elaine didn’t do well outside, she e would eventually return to them, but it had all been wishful thinking-
Elaine despised them, especially Tracy.
She couldn’t stand how Tracy showered all her affection on Bianca, time and time again choosing Blanca over her.
Robert sighed deeply. “We hoped that if Elaine didn’t find success, she would return to us. But now that Sandra’s people have com
ve come to take her, it clear. Elaine might never come back here again.”
Elaine’s decision to recognize Sandra as her mother was a done deal. There was no changing
Who would choose to stay in a family where they were a second–class daughter, when they could be the darling princess of the family?
Tracy trembled, her body shaking with sobs. “I finally got her back, and now, because of Blanca, all the distance and conflict. I’ve let go of my past bitterness, decided to build a relationship with my daughter, but now she’s leaving me.”
“I know
it’s because I favored Blanca, and she resented me for it, that’s why she’s so cold towards me.”
“I thought if I held onto Bianca, I could still make up for it with Elaine, that one day, she’d understand me. But now, now…”
Now, everything had taken a turn she couldn’t have predicted.
Elaine had not just left her–she’d gone to Sandra, her sworn enemy, and recognized her as her mother.
Tracy was torn between her love for her daughter and hatred for Sandra. If Sandra hadn’t inserted herself into their lives, Elaine wouldn’t have recognized a woman with no blood ties to her as her mother.
Yet, Tracy conveniently forgot one thing every time, she had chosen to abandon Elaine.
And now, Elaine had abandoned her in return. That was the cause and effect of it all
Tracy could barely speak, her voice cracking as she said. “But now… now Elaine has called someone che ‘mom Doesn’t she even want to give me a chance to make up for everything?”
She turned to Robert, pleading. “Please, let’s bring Elaine back. She’s our daughter! I haven’t had a chance to love her properly, I haven’t made up for my past mistakes. I feel so guilty about Elaine. If she comes back, I will make it right for the rest of my life”
Tracy couldn’t bear the thought of her daughter belonging to Sandra. First, their relationship was a mess, and second, she simply couldn’t accept her daughter rejecting her and calling another woman “mom.”
But Robert, uninterested in her emotional outbursts, replied calmly. “Tracy, this is no longer something we can control.
Tracy cried even harder. “But if I don’t make up for it with Elaine, I’ll never forgive myself. Robert, I owe Elaine so much. I didn’t care for her the way a mother should. Eve let her down. I really am sorry to Elaine.”
Robert grew irritated by her constant crying, unsure why women were so lidecisive–unable to give up this and that, forever trapped in their
Flame was gone, and now the only daughter they had left was Bianca. It would be much less complicated with just one.
Finally, Robarri cut her off, “Enough. Since Graham and Elaine have chosen George and Sandra, it’s a decision that even a mother can’t change. Your tantrums wont help”
“If Elame wants to stay with George, then let her. She’s been distant from us for so long, just like Hianca, who’s been with us from the start?
Robert a words were final, and Tracy could do nothing but obey.
She felt helpless, but she knew she had to keep her husband’s love, even if she couldn’t completely control her wild emotions.
“Super Elaine has recognized Sandra, from now on, she’s not my daughter anymore.

Tracy said those words with a heavy heart, as though to assert some control over the situation. She believed Elaine had been cruel, too ruthless.

Robert, tired of her repeated outbursts, finally agreed, “Fine.” He turned to leave, adding, “I’m not coming back tonight. I have a business dinner”
He was growing more and more determined to rid himself of this constant complaining.
As Robert left. Tracy’s eyes darkened with resentment, but she dared not say a word.
At some point, she had gone from being the adored woman of her husband and sens to a bitter wife
Although Robert said he was
was going to a dinner, he left straight for Janet’s house afterward.
Bianca had tipped Janet off in advance, letting her know that Tracy had been making Roben uncomfortable again
Bianca, with her own agendas, had no qualms about making Tracy’s life more difficult
No matter who ended up running the Yeats family, Bianca would remain the daughter of a noble family.
Tracy, oblivious to all of this, still thought her adopted daughter was on her side, and she continued complaining about family matters.
Bianca, frigning i
g interest, couldn’t help but think that Tracy had brought this upon herself.
Everyone had their own secrets, their own schemes.
After Calvin ended up in jail, Ella sent someone to Lento, temporarily handing over control of the game company to Jepson.
She’d also tried reaching out to Travis Now, of the seven prominent members of the Yeats family, only Travis remained absent, like he’d vanished from the earth.
Blanca, always resourceful, continued to play her role and kept the Vests family & foundation intact.
earing the news, wasn’t at all surprised.
Elaine, on hearing
If Blanca hadn’t been capable, she wouldn’t have had such a brilliant past, becoming the woman everyone admired.
What surprised Elaine, however, was that Bianca had met with the illegitimate son of the Morgan family, even though she wasn’t in Lento.
Apparently, the
had altered his plans and gone to Boynton instead.
The details of their meeting were unclear to Elaine, but from her intel network, it was clear that things between Bianca and that ruthless, scheming illegitimate son were heating up.
Ah, the power of the lead character’s charm
Now, the audacious home–wrecker, carrying her bastard child, had returned to Hosgland, signaling the start of a war for inheritance.
And Kingsley, the fickle father, was right there with her.
Elaine lay on her bed, hearing all this, and couldn’t help but snicker,
What audacity.
*Book Elf, what was that illegitimate son’s name again?”
“Dangelo Morgan, came the reply.
Elaine narrowed her eyes. “Well, I’ll have to meet them soon enough”
