Chapter 271
Sandra watched as they left, unable to hold back a remark. “What just happened? Weren’t they just putting on a melodramatic show, begging and kneeling? This family is beyond ridiculous. Their behavior and thought proces are vo bizarre, it’s impossible to understand.”
Elaine chimed in, “They must’ve heard that Bianca and Finley are having a wedding, and now they think they’ve made it. Jepson’s medical bills? Of course, that’s no problem for them now. So Robert just dragged Tracy off, probably to start planning Bianca’s wedding.”
“It’s a shame, though. Bianca is as selfish as they come. She’ll never agree to help pay for Jepson’s treatment, no matter what But now that the Yeats family still has something to offer her, she’ll grudgingly shell out the money. Even if she doesn’t warst to, she’ll do it because she knows it’s expected.”
Actually, it was Ella who had received the news from Boynton.
Finley was going all out for Bianca’s grand wedding, reportedly giving her the full luxury treatment.
From the dowry to the wedding gifts, Finley was arranging everything to make sure Bianca had the wedding of her dreams, as a way to erase the past humiliation.
So, Ella quickly packed her bags to return to Boynton, her grandson still lying in the ICU–though at that point, she didn’t have the luxury to care too much about that.
The treatment funds were covered, and now it was up to Jepson’s fate.
But more than Jepson’s health, what truly had Ella excited was Bianca’s impending entry into the Scott family. The Yeats family was finally going to get the respect they deserved.
Ella couldn’t help but gloat inside, as if to broadcast to the whole world that her precious granddaughter was about to marry into the Scott family. From now on, Bianca would be the lady of one of the wealthiest, most prestigious families around. Anyone with half a brain would have to kiss up to her and the Yeats family, not someone like Elaine, who had married a nouveau riche.
With this, Boynton was far from peaceful.
No one had expected that, after all Bianca had gone through, she would still manage to marry into the Scott family and become a top–tier wealthy woman, with a husband who adored her.
But everything that happened in Boynton was all under Elaine’s control.
Ella, Robert, and Tracy, eager to show off the wedding, invited a ton of friends and family to make sure everyone knew that Bianca was marrying into a top–tier fortune.
All their previous efforts hadn’t been in vain; they were finally getting what they wanted.
It might have been at the cost of Bianca’s reputation, but nothing could stop her from entering the Scott family’s gates.
Elaine didn’t mind their grandstanding. She knew that no matter how triumphant they seemed now, disaster was just around the corner for them.
Their days of misery were about to begin.
In seven days, she would go to Boynton and personally shatter the Yeats family’s dream.
Karl, hearing Elaine talk about it, was visibly shocked. “What? No way! They’re getting married this fast? Geez, that’s quick.”
The last time, that woman was still pretending to seduce him.

Chapter 271
Finley was truly the biggest fool. He was marrying a woman like that? How pitiful.
Elaine nodded. “Bianca grabbed onto Finley as her last lifeline, so there’s no way she’ll let him go. The wedding is already set for next week, and the Scott family is rushing to prepare for it. Seven days to plan it all? Way too tight a timeline. But Finley’s willing to do anything to make Bianca happy and give her the grandest wedding.”
Glenn commented, “You can tell Bianca is in a rush–she’s having both the engagement banquet and wedding prepped at the same time.”
Henry added, “Whatever. It’s not our problem. Just as long as they don’t bother Elaine, that’s fine with me.”
George agreed. “Exactly.”
Graham looked at his granddaughter. “Elaine, let’s go back and play chess.”
Elaine nodded and, pushing Graham in his wheelchair, led him back to the study.
A week later, Bianca’s wedding was officially held in Boynton.
The day saw a gathering of socialites, all converging at the Scott family estate, as if they were preparing for an event of monumental importance.
Elaine arrived in Boynton and headed straight for the Scott family house, without any hesitation.
Book Elf, following behind, couldn’t help but remark, “Looks like Finley is really going all out for Bianca. He’s turning this wedding into a huge event, bringing in so many friends and family to celebrate. Even with only a week’s preparation, he’s determined to make sure Bianca doesn’t feel wronged.”
Elaine smirked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Oh, you’re right. Finley has to show off to all these people, so they can witness his ‘happiness. How touching.”
When Elaine arrived at the Scott family estate, she found Bianca standing there in a lavish wedding gown, basking in the spotlight and beaming with pride.
It was as though her previous fall from grace had never happened.
She was still the proud, beloved little princess from a prestigious family–the center of attention, adored by everyone.
But the moment she saw Elaine in the crowd, her expression faltered as if she had been struck by an electric shock. Her face immediately darkened.
As their gazes met, Elaine didn’t speak a word; she merely gave a faint smile, her expression neutral, showing no hint of
emotion.
No matter how much Bianca tried to pretend, in front of Elaine, her façade would always crack.
Robert, Tracy, and Ella, who had been all smiles, suddenly turned pale when they saw Elaine. Their expressions shifted from joy to discomfort, especially Ella’s.
Tracy rushed over, attempting to drag Elaine away. “Elaine, what are you doing here? It’s Bianca’s wedding today. You shouldn’t be here. Come on, I’ll take you out.”
Elaine shook off Tracy’s hand, smiling faintly. “Oh? What’s wrong with me being here? Tracy, this is the Scott family. You really don’t have the right to decide whether I stay or leave. In Boynton and Lento, no one can stop me from going anywhere.”
Tracy’s face darkened, still trying to get Elaine to leave.
Suddenly, a commotion broke out in the crowd.

A young, fashionable woman, carrying a Hermes bag, stormed up to Bianca, who was dressed in an elegant wedding gown.
“You shameless woman! You’re the one who seduced my boyfriend, aren’t you? You home–wrecking little tramp! I’ll teach you a lesson. You stole him from me, and now you think you can come back and marry him? Let me tell you, there are a thousand men in the world, and I couldn’t care less about that loser.
“But you, while I was his girlfriend, went behind my back and stole him? You think you’re so attractive? You’re a cracked egg with a fly buzzing around it. You two are perfect for each other, aren’t you? I hope you’re locked in this mess forever and never hurt anyone else.”
With that, the woman lunged at Bianca.
Everyone was stunned, staring in disbelief. They couldn’t believe their eyes, yet they couldn’t tear themselves away from the
scene.
The bride was a home–wrecker?
The crowd, filled with influential people, had never seen anything like this. They were all about appearances, and no one expected such an outrageous spectacle.
Elaine had no idea this woman would be so fired up. When they had spoken before, she hadn’t shown any signs of this.
