Chapter 84
After the three brothers gathered in the garden, Shawn still planned to meet with Tracy and Bianca later that evening.
Just as his father had told him, no matter what chaos was unfolding at home, it couldn’t affect Galaxy Entertainment, nor could it ruin Bianca’s future in the entertainment industry.
As the president of Galaxy Entertainment, he had a responsibility to steer the company forward.
And, most importantly, Bianca was innocent in all this. At the very least, they shouldn’t take out their frustrations on her.
Shawn had already told Harlan and Tucker this face–to–face, but while Harlan remained silent, Tucker, who had completely awakened, couldn’t help but scoff.
“Shawn, do you really think Bianca is perfect? Is that what you believe? Because I don’t. I even think she might not be as innocent as we once thought. Maybe she’s been hiding her true nature all along.”
Harlan was taken aback by Tucker’s words and quickly intervened. “Tucker, some things shouldn’t be said lightly. Yes, we’ve made huge mistakes with Elaine, and we owe her a lot, but Bianca is still our sister. She may not share our blood, but she’s been part of this family for nearly twenty
years.
“One is our biological sister, and the other is still our sister. Elaine has already cut ties with us, but you can’t just go around accusing Bianca without evidence. Don’t you think that if we start alienating her too, we’ll end up losing her too?”
Harlan, although still a little uncomfortable with the situation regarding Elaine, agreed with Shawn’s stance. They shouldn’t take out their anger on Bianca just because of what happened with Elaine.
Tucker’s mind raced. He suddenly remembered how Elaine had once accused Finley and Bianca of having an affair.
No one had believed her back then–not their parents, not the brothers, not even the people who watched it all unfold online.
Everyone had labeled Elaine as jealous, accusing her of slandering Bianca. And now, Tucker realized he had fallen into the same trap, being wrongly accused of slandering Bianca.
Perhaps Elaine had seen through Bianca long before any of them had. She had tried to warn everyone, to let them know that Bianca wasn’t as innocent as they believed, that some of the bad things that had happened weren’t her fault. But no one had listened.
Tucker’s heart grew colder as he recalled all the times they’d disregarded Elaine. He had tried to paint Bianca’s angelic face as something pure, but now, it seemed utterly detestable.
He didn’t even know how many times they had misunderstood Elaine, blaming her without ever questioning their own actions.
Suddenly, Tucker let out a bitter laugh, pain written all over his face. He lowered his head, unable to speak.
“I was wrong. I was so incredibly wrong,” he thought to himself, his voice a whisper in the silence of his mind,
Harlan, noticing Tucker’s sudden distress, was startled. He quickly rushed to his side, fearing he might be ill. “Tucker, are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?”
“Let go of me, Harlan.”
Tucker couldn’t bear to feel the weight of the past any longer–the guilt, the anger, the mistakes they had all made. His own frustration with his brothers, his parents, and the Yeats family all boiled over, directed toward Elaine. He was deeply ashamed of everything that had happened.
After taking a moment to calm himself, he continued, “Harlan, even though I don’t have proof, it’s just a gut feeling, but I believe my instincts are right. Why was it that every time Bianca and Elaine clashed, there was always some drama? Whether it was this incident or that one–was it really just coincidence?”
“And what about Finley? Could he have been cheating with Bianca all along?”
Harlan froze for a moment, processing what Tucker had said.
They had always assumed that it was Elaine who couldn’t accept Bianca, but now, Harlan wasn’t so sure. The thought lingered in his mind like a dark cloud.
Sighing, Harlan said quietly, “Tucker, let’s not jump to conclusions without evidence, okay?”
Tucker turned to Shawn. “What do you think? Do you honestly believe Bianca is completely innocent?”

Chapter 84
O
Shawn’s expression was complicated, his mind clearly torn. “Tucker, I know the impact Elaine’s situation has had on you. It’s been hard on all of us. Elaine is our sister, and it’s not just you who feels this way. We’re all struggling with it.”
“I get that you might not be able to think of Bianca as your sister right now, because of what happened with Elaine. But don’t worry, no one’s blaming you for that. I’ll talk to Mom. I won’t be as stubborn as I used to be. I’ll listen now.”
Hearing this from Shawn, Tucker felt a strange sense of relief. If someone as stubborn as Shawn could admit fault, then maybe things weren’t as hopeless as they seemed.
Tucker didn’t expect his brothers to immediately believe him, but a deep, unsettling thought gripped him: Why was it that everyone seemed to blindly trust Bianca, to protect her at all costs? Why was it that no one ever questioned her?
Before, he hadn’t thought much of it. But now, looking back, it felt deeply unsettling.
If he were in Elaine’s shoes, surrounded by people who wouldn’t listen or believe him, how could he possibly stand it?
As Tucker looked out the window toward Bianca’s room, a cold resolve took root inside him. He smirked darkly, determined to uncover the truth,
to expose Bianca’s true nature. His suspicions, coupled with past events, led him to believe Elaine’s words more than ever.
The three brothers returned to their rooms after the conversation.
Later that night, in her room, Tracy was still comforting Bianca, but the girl’s heart was in turmoil. She felt restless, anxious. The door creaked open, and Shawn stepped in.
Her eyes flickered, and for the first time that night, they brightened. “Shawn?”
When Shawn saw Bianca, he couldn’t help but let out a sigh. Every time he looked at her, he was reminded of the harsh words he had once said to Elaine. Regret and guilt weighed heavily on him.
Elaine was his sister. He had never considered how she might have felt. How many foolish things had he done?
Now Elaine had grown numb, having stopped seeing her brothers as family. She no longer cared, but the pain she had endured seemed to have
shifted to them.
Bianca couldn’t hold it in anymore. “Shawn, do you hate me now?”
Tracy, who was sitting nearby, watched Shawn closely. He was her eldest son, the one she had poured all her hopes into. She was counting on him, trusting him to lead the family.
