Chapter 121
As soon as they heard that there would be chicken for dinner, both teams were instantly energized.
They exclaimed, Awesome! We’re having chicken tonight!”
Even Trevon, who had been feeling down earlier, perked up. No matter what, he was determined to get that chicken today.
Elaine, on the other hand, was already thinking about how she’d make chicken soup for dinner. They couldn’t eat fish every day after all
Elaine said confidently. “Il cook chicken soup for everyone tonight.”
Her chicken soup was legendary.
“That’s amazing!” Chelsea couldn’t hide her excitement at the prospect of another delicious meal from Elaine. She jumped for joy, eager to try something new,
Sebestian and Chelsea were determined to stick with Elaine no matter what, which made Laura chuckle. Watching these two cling to Flaine was becoming a running joke.
The viewers noticed that Laura, who always seemed so composed, had an adorable side when she smiled. She looked like a playful little girl.
Elaine seemed to be very certain that they would get the chicken. Trevon and his team couldn’t stand how confident Elaine was
He did not believe all the good things would fall on Elaine’s lap. He thought she was only good at fishing-
However, Trevon was utterly wrong. She didn’t know the real Elaine at all.
He muttered sarcastically. “I wouldn’t be so sure about that.”

It seemed Trevon still had a bit of arrogance left in him. Since that was the case, Elaine was ready to teach him a lesson and humiliate him again.
He slapped his face and continued walking.
The production team, watching the contestants‘ excitement, smiled knowingly. They didn’t want to be too harsh on the guests. Along with the chicken challenge, they’d also provide rice and a few vegetable dishes for dinner.
As for the chicken, they would have to fight for it themselves.
Once the director gave the signal, both teams started climbing the mountain to find the chicken.
Elaine glanced at the map. It was full of twists and turns, almost like it had been encrypted Chelsea leaned in to look and was instantly confused.
She remarked, “This map… it’s like it’s been encoded. I can’t understand any of it
“Don’t worry. Just follow me, Elaine assured her calmly. Elaine checked the sky. It was still quite sunny.
Luckily, she had brought a sun–protective jacket and a sturdy stick. The other three followed her lead and put on their jackets as well.
Sure enough, the sun at the top of the mountain was blazing
Laura looked at the intense sunlight and almost shed tears of gratitude for Elaine’s foresight
In contrast, Bianca’s team lacked basic survival instincts. They charged straight up the mountain without any protection, and the scorching sun nearly cooked them alive.
Viewers couldn’t help but praise Elaine for thinking ahead and saving her team from suffering in the brutal heat.
With their delicate skin, Kayla and Daisy couldn’t take it anymore and refused to move from a shady spot they found.
Livia, who initially wanted to support Bianca, eventually gave up. The sun was too harsh, and she didn’t want to risk damaging her looks. She quickly joined Kayla and Daisy under the trees.
Bianca didn’t bother with them. She continued searching for the chicken with Finley and Trevon, thinking it was better this way.
At least this way, she’d get all the credit if they found the chicken. That would make her shine even more in front of the viewers.

“We need to pick up the pace. We can’t let Elaine’s team beat us.” Bianca urged.
Finley nodded and even took off his jacket to shield Bianca from the sun. He and Trevon stayed close, making sure she was comfortable.
Meanwhile, Elaine’s team had already covered a third of the trail. The production team had set up clues at various points to guide them toward the chicken.
But finding those clues was entirely up to them.
Elaine walked steadily up the mountain, holding a stick. She scanned for clues that would guide them to the chicken
Meanwhile, the two live streams showed starkly different scenes.
On Bianca’s side, the two men were taking care of her as they searched for the trail markers. They paused frequently. Even the two big men started to breathe heavily.
Sandwiched between them. Bianca was drenched in sweat. Her makeup was ruined, looking completely disheveled. The only consolation was that they had found several markers along the way
Elaine’s team, however, was a completely different story. With her hat on and her stunning beauty unaffected by the climb, Elaine ascended the mountain with case, moving swiftly and effortlessly.
Sebestian was panting his steps heavy with exhaustion. He couldn’t help but admire Elaine.
The viewers began to appreciate Elaine’s breathtaking beauty as they watched her on screen.
Elaine took the map and found several road signs.
The viewers could see the map E Elaine was working from. It was a puzzle in itself. As Chelsea had said, it seemed encrypted.
[This production team is so ridiculous! They’re replacing map locations with complex calculus problems. I can’t believe they have to do math just to read a map. The director needs to reconsider what he’s doing!]
(And how is Elaine solving this without even using a pen? She’s just doing mental math! What kind of genius is she?]

With the clues from the map, Elaine quickly found all the markers, except for the last one
Suddenly, a hissing sound came from above Chelsea. A chill ran down her spine, and she felt a strange fear rising.

Elaine gripped her stick firmly, scanning for the right angle and force.
“Elaine, what’s going on?” Chelsea’s voice was full of panic, and Laura’s voice came through urgently, “Chelsea, don’t move! There’s a snake above you. Don’t move! Do you hear me?”

“Elaine!” Startled and shaken, Chelsea ran straight into Elaine’s arms, sobbing uncontrollably.
“It’s all right now, Elaine comforted Chelsea, who was still in shock.
Looking down, Elaine spotted a symbol on the ground. It was the final marker set up by the production team. They had successfully found it.
