Theo hadn’t found out that I was leaving, but I just felt that he finally realized a lot less things at home.
“Have you been tidying up lately? How do you feel like a lot of things are missing?” he asked.
“I don’t want anything from the past anymore.”
I casually found an excuse to prevaricate the past, after all, Theo’s heart was not on me now.
“Then buy new ones for whatever you like and we’ll start over.”
Theo gave me a supplementary card, turned around and was about to leave.
“Will you back tonight?” I asked.
“Hmm, not sure. The company has something to deal with, so I’ll just sleep in the office.”
I quietly watched Theo’s back until he left the house.
Theo, who was driving, felt that something was strange, but he couldn’t say it, as if something important was
about to disappear.
When he came to the company and saw Clara, he no longer thought about why he felt that way.
I put that supplementary card in the box and it was the last gift I prepared for Theo.
I put the first ultrasound list at the bottom and the surgery sheet that the doctor asked me to sign.
The divorce agreement and the black card were placed on the top, so that Theo could see it at a glance when he opened the box.
The box was beautifully organized by me and really looked like a gift prepared with care.
On the last day of the countdown, I prepared a table of meals and waited for Theo to return.
By nine o’clock in the evening, the phone rang.
“Honey, I won’t come home tonight. I still have some things to do here. Just go to bed early and I’ll go back
tomorrow when I’m done. Okay?”
When talking, Theo even didn’t realize that Clara’s voice next to him was heard by me.
Hanging up, I swept all the food on the table to the floor in a somewhat uncontrollable way.
“Theo, if you know that this is the last dinner, will you be sad?”
I couldn’t feel the glass shards on the plates that cut my feet.
It’s like our paralyzing marriage.

The Best Anniversary Gift is A Divorce Agreement
When he came to the company and saw Clara, he no longer thought about why he felt that way.
I put that supplementary card in the box and it was the last gift I prepared for Theo.

It’s like our paralyzing marriage.
The next morning, I woke up early, picked up my packed luggage and went to the airport.
“Alina, I’ve arrived at the airport gate, you can see me when you get out of the car.”
Alina’s uncle, Henry Jones, arrived early, but because he didn’t have time, he didn’t show up.
He didn’t know what Alina had experienced, but when he heard her crying, he wanted to strangle Theo to death.

“Uncle!”
I happily threw myself into Henry’s arms and my suitcase fell to the side.
“Alina, what are your plans to go home this time?”
“I want to take a break.”
I was a whole head smaller than Henry and when I looked up, I saw Henry’s smiling eyes.
Sitting in the waiting room, Henry and I talked about the family routines over the years.
When I got on the plane, I received a call from Theo.
“Honey, where have you been? I didn’t see you when I got home, why did you still run around after the
miscarriage?”
“I’m going to take care of some things and the jewels are on the table I put in the living room, Can you help me
see if it looks good?”
“Okay. Then I’ll wait for you at home.”
After hanging up the phone, a trace of viciousness flashed in Henry’s eyes. Then I told him everything. Het
think that I would have a miscarriage.
I blocked all of Theo’s contact information.
“Alina, you shouldn’t have chosen him in the first place.”
