Chapter 110
It was as if….
The man’s kiss still lingered on her lips.
Her breath entwined with his, their lips and teeth intermingling.
This thought caused Sophia’s face to flush even redder, and even her heartbeat was out of control.
Fortunately, there was a door behind her, preventing her from collapsing to the floor in weakness.
“That kiss… was it an ambush from you, my fiancée?” The man’s voice, laced with a lazy smile, reached her ears, “Hmm, fiancée, you now have another responsibility.”
Sophia’s eyes narrowed as she suddenly lifted her head to glare at him.
How could that even be considered a kiss!?
It was clearly just an accident!
And with that glance, she saw him leaning against the cabinet, his noble and elegant posture relaxed and at ease, his shirt in disarray, revealing that captivating cold white skin fully in her view.
From… the pink–tinged collarbone she had pinched, downwards, to the blush–tinted white chest muscles, and… the firm, enticingly touchable abs.
Beneath the half–open white shirt, it was enough to leave Sophia utterly bewitched and disoriented.
Her breath became erratic again, her long lashes trembling unconsciously, her eyes daring not to fall upon his body again.
She puffed her cheeks, gritting her teeth fiercely, “Stop–stop spewing nonsense! I didn’t ambush you, Hurry and put on your clothes! Shameless!”
Tristan glanced down at his open shirt without moving, instead lazily spreading his arms wider, revealing that narrow waistline, his voice teasing with an enticing smile, Then does my fiancée like it?”
Like…?
You big dummy!
Show–off!
Sophia turned her head to the side with a flushed face, refusing the temptation of male charms, “Hurry up, Grandpa is still outside!”
Just as she said that, she heard the somewhat anxious and worried voice of the old man from outside the door. “Soph, what
was that noise just now? What happened? Did you fall?”
Edward Roscente was obviously getting a bit anxious, raising his voice by another decibel, and even the knocking on the door became a bit more urgent.
Sophia, leaning against the door, felt as if each knock was pounding on her own body.
She urged Tristan with her eyes.
This time, Tristan didn’t continue with his teasing..

Chapter 110
His jasle like fingers moved swiftly in her line of sight, buttoning up his disheveled shirt one by one, concealing hist exquisite, cold white and beautifully lined skin.
Until the shirt was neatly arranged again.
He then returned to his abstinent and aloof demeanor.
Sophia bit her lip and untered two words, “Human beast!”
She took a deep breath, suppressing her restless heartbeat, stood up straight, and rubbed her face vigorously
When the next urgent knocking sound erupted, Sophia cleared her throat, raised her voice, and said in a calm tone, “Grandpa. I’m fine.”
The knocking outside abruptly stopped.
After a few seconds of silence, Edward Roscente eagerly said, “Open the door first”
Sophia looked at the beast, Tristan Yeats, then back at herself, ensuring nothing was amiss, she opened the door,
Outside the door, the old man stood with a solemn face, his eyes sharp as a hawk’s
Behind him stood Butler Walter, holding up high a… cane inlaid with jade?
And Gary was pulling and tugging with Butler Walter, trying to stop him from smashing the cane into the door.
When the door opened, the three of them froze upon seeing Sophia standing there.
The scene had been absurdly and eerily paused.
“Sophia.
Old Master was the first to come to his senses, his sharp eyes carried the authority and pressure of an adult man.
He glanced Sophia up and down, then looked past her into the room.
Finally, his gaze landed on the tall and handsome man standing in front of a cabinet.
He squinted his eyes and looked the man up and down, then glanced around the rest of the room.
The items on the table were neatly arranged, and there were no signs that the chairs in the room had been moved.
Sophia’s bed was neatly made, clearly not approached.
He finally felt at ease.
It seemed that the two of them had simply closed the door and were having a proper discussion about the engagement
Good, none of those sordid things he imagined had happened.
Edward Roscente’s expression softened as he gave Butler Walter a sidelong glance.
Butler Walter understood and immediately released Gary, setting down his cane to assume the posture of a gentlemanly
butler.
As if he was not the one who had just raised the cane in a manner that disrupted elegance.
But, when Butler Walter glanced at Tristan Yeats, he faintly sensed something was off…

Chapter 110
Not sure if it was just his imagination
He couldn’t help but feel… that Mr. Yeats’s shirt seemed more crumpled compared to when they had just come upstairs?
“How did the discussion go?” Edward retracted his probing gaze and asked.
Sophia felt guilty at the moment.
Especially when she saw her grandfather, after opening the door, kept glancing back and forth between her and Tristan.
That look had a certain… stormy sense.
It seemed like he had figured something out and was ready to grab a knife and start a fight at any moment!
Upon hearing her grandfather’s question, her breath paused slightly. Her mouth moved, and her voice was inexplicably weak. “Ju–just like that.”
“Hmum” Such a state naturally made Edward instantly alert.
He frowned slightly, and the scrutiny that had just relaxed in his eyes immediately narrowed again, staring intently at Sophia.
Sophia was adjusting her breath and was just about to speak.
Then she heard the man leaning against the cabinet take long strides gracefully towards them, and with a polite smile in his clear and gentle voice, he said, “Grandfather, the discussion is settled.”
That one word “grandfather directly darkened Edward Roscente’s face. His solemn and majestic eyes glared at him angrily.
What was going on here that warranted calling him “grandfather” already?
Who was his grandfather?
“After a serious and detailed conversation between Soph and me, we have decided to fulfill the marriage agreement between the two families and strengthen the relationship between us.
Facing the pressure released by Edward Roscente, Tristan remained completely unfazed, still wearing a polite and dignified smile, neither servile nor overbearing. “So, from now on, I am Sophia’s rightful fiancé, and calling you ‘grandfather‘ in advance will help you get used to it sooner.
Mr. Roscente was so shocked.
His eyes widened, and he raised his hand to point at Tristan Yeats, unable to believe it. In such a short time, the pearl he had just reclaimed was really taken by Tristan?
His breathing became rapid as he stared intensely at Tristan.
Then he turned his head immediately to look at Sophia, his eyes wide as he asked, “Sophia, is it true?!”
At that moment, the man standing next to Sophia slightly tilted his head, his deep, ink–like eyes had a long arc at the corners, captivating and bewitching
