Chapter 131
“Thanks then,” Sophia said, shaking her shoulders to dislodge Tristan from her neck
She stood up and turned to Finn, who was about to retreat. “I’ve already informed their butlers individually. Have them sent to the addresses I gave you, their butlers will pick them up“.
Finn had already stepped back to the door but froze mid–step at Sophia’s words. “Y–Yes, Ms. Roscente”
A perceptive person knew better than to glance around unnecessarily.
After a few more instructions from Sophia, Finn promptly left to make the arrangement
Sophia turned to Tristan. “What about you? Do you need someone from the hotel to drive you home?
“Sofi, are you planning to use me and then throw me away?” Tristan teased, his eyes flickering with a hint of playful grievance as if he’d been wronged.
“You’re drunk. What are you going to do if you don’t go home?” Sophia replied.
“Sofi, I accompanied you to meet your friends. Now, shouldn’t you accompany me to see Andrew?” Despite the tipsiness in his eyes. Tristan’s words were clear and logical
Sophia glanced at him. “We’re both drunk. Are we really going to visit Mr. Yeats at the hospital like this?”
Visiting someone with the smell of alcohol on their breath was incredibly impolite.
“It’s fine. Andrew won’t mind. Tristan said, wrapping his arm around Sophia’s waist and pulling her into an embrace from behind. “Ever since Andrew woke up, he’s been pestering everyone to let him see you especially after he found out that you agreed to honor the engagement between our families…”
Tristan enjoyed the feeling of holding her, with his head resting on her shoulder.
As he spoke, he pulled out his phone and opened a chat window. “See. He’s been nagging me non–stop
Sophia, who had initially tried to wriggle free, glanced at the phone in Tristan’s hand. It was indeed the chat between Tristan and his grandfather, Andrew.
As Tristan scrolled through the messages, it was clear that Andrew had been asking about Sophia since the day before yesterday.
Even during lunch, Andrew had messaged about when he could see her.
Tristan had replied: [I’m having lunch with her.]
Andrew [Come over after you finish ]
Tristan hadn’t responded further until half an hour ago, when Andrew sent a photo of himself lying in the hospital bed, one hand holding a needle while the other rested on top.
The caption read: [Are you coming or not? If not, I’m pulling this out.]
Sophia was taken aback. ‘No wonder he’s known as Andrew’s best friend. They really do share the same willful temperaments, she thought.
Sophia covered Tristan’s hand with hers. “Alright, we’ll go to the hospital, but first, you need to sober up a bit, and I need to: buy a gift”

Chapter 131
She hadn’t drunk much today. Tristan had mostly taken the brunt of the toasts.
As she pushed Tristan gently, Sophia pondered what kind of gift would be appropriate for Andrew.
Their last meeting had been somewhat awkward, and she hadn’t had the chance to properly introduce herself.
Moreover, her status now was entirely different from before.
Last time, she was there as a doctor to check on Andrew.
This time, she was visiting as Tristan’s fiancée and a younger generation member of the family.
Showing up empty–handed would be quite impolite.
“I already had them ready” Tristan replied. “It’s in the car.”
Sophia was momentarily stunned.
So Tristan had planned this all along, taking me to formally meet Mr. Yeats?” she thought.
Firth had already brought the security guards to help escort the drunken group out.

She drank and couldn’t drive. As Sophia prepared to ask Finn for a driver, Tristan seemed to read her mind. Tve already called Gary,” he said, taking her hand in his.
Sophia was taken aback again. ‘What a considerate assistant. Last time he called Gary in the middle of the night to drive, and now he’s doing it again. This just proves that Tristan had planned from the start to take me to see his Andrew, she thought
It showed even more that from the very beginning, he had planned to take her to meet his grandfather.
After Finn had seen everyone off, Sophia and Tristan walked out of the private room and approached the front desk. “Check us out from the third floor,” Sophia said.
Although the hotel was a gift from her father, the bill still needed to be settled.
The receptionist, a stunning woman, paused in surprise and looked at Sophia in shock.
The entire staff of the Raffle Hotel had been speculating about who the VIP on the third floor was today.
Now, seeing Sophia’s exceptional aura and stunning beauty, the receptionist couldn’t match her face with any of the well- known socialites in her mind.
Despite her astonishment and curiosity, her professionalism quickly kicked in. “Hello, the third floor has already been taken care of,” she said.
This time, it was Sophia’s turn to be surprised.
Her delicate brows furrowed, and then she glanced at Tristan. “You?”
“Darling, on my first day, I wanted to boost your performance, Tristan said with a casual smile. His usually aloof and noble demeanor was softened by the warmth in his eyes.
Sophia’s heart fluttered, as if touched by something gentle and tender.
She unconsciously smiled and took Tristan’s hand. “Let’s go.”
Sophia’s hand was incredibly soft, her skin smooth and delicate. When she held Tristan’s larger hand, it felt like cotton, gentle and warm

Chapter 131
Tristan looked at their intertwined hands, his eyes filled with a soft smile and his eyelashes trembling slightly.
He followed Sophia out of the Raffle Hotel, his long legs matching her pace.
Gary was already standing by the striking Maybach, and as he saw the two figures emerge from the hotel, his eyes lit up.
His
gaze
immediately fell on their linked hands.
He greeted them enthusiastically. “Hello, Tristan, Sophia.“
He stared at their joined hands, feeling a surge of excitement and joy for their love story. After all, he had always hoped they would end up together.
His initial annoyance at being called in as a driver dissipated in an instant.
He loved being close to people in love, especially Tristan and Sophia.
He felt that as long as he could stay near them, anything was fine.
Gary happily opened the rear car door, his smile beaming, “Sophia, please take a seat.”
Sophia gave Gary a strange look.
His fiery gaze made her feel like she was being scrutinized.
Once inside the car, Gary couldn’t contain his excitement and started chattering away until Tristan gave him a cool, warning glance through the rearview mirror, effectively silencing him.
The drive from the hotel to the hospital was a bit long.
Sophia had spent the entire previous day drawing and, despite getting some sleep, still felt exhausted. Combined with the alcohol she had during lunch, she was now feeling quite drowsy, her head nodding slightly.
Suddenly, Tristan’s warm palm rested on her head.
Sophia briefly stirred, her long eyelashes fluttering as she looked at Tristan with sleepy eyes.
In the next moment, under Tristan’s gentle guidance, her head leaned against his shoulder.
Her hair cascaded lazily down, spreading across Tristan’s white shirt.
The clash of white and black was particularly eye–catching.
The rich scent of alcohol mingled with Tristan’s crisp, woody cologne, creating an intoxicating aroma that made one feel slightly tipsy.
Sophia’s long eyelashes fluttered a couple of times before she finally succumbed to drowsiness and fell into a deep sleep. When the car arrived at the entrance of State Hospital, Sophia was still asleep
Gary unbuckled his seatbelt and turned to speak, only to meet Tristan’s cold, warning glance.
He glanced at the peacefully sleeping girl, then obediently zipped his lips with a gesture, deciding not to utter another word.
The two of them sat quietly in the car, waiting for the sleeping beauty to wake up.
At the same time, a luxury car pulled up to the hospital entrance.

Chapter 131
Chloe, dressed in an ethereal white gown and with a meticulously done–up face, stepped out of the vehicle.
She was followed by Griffin in a sharp suit and Felicity, who was now wearing an elegant and luxurious dress and holding a bouquet of flowers.
Griffin walked around to the back of the car, opened the trunk, and pulled out several gift boxes.
Both Griffin and Felicity gathered around Chloe, their faces beaming with smiles as they spoke to her.
Chloe’s chin was tilted up slightly, and a hint of pride unconsciously spread across her gentle face.
But soon, her gaze fixed on something that caught her attention.
It was an extremely luxurious car. Although its color was subdued, the model and logo were incredibly eye–catching.
Already, quite a few people were craning their necks to get a better look at the vehicle, their eyes filled with envy.
Having been exposed to high society for a while, Chloe immediately recognized it as a top–tier, limited–edition Maybach, one of only a handful in the world.
In the entire Virelia, only a select few could afford such a luxury.
Chloe’s eyes were glued to the car.
“Chloe, when you see Miss Roscente later, you have to say some good things about me.
“Especially if you can convince Miss Roscente to let the Stewart Family invest in the studio you’re planning to collaborate on, that would be perfect,” Griffin said, glancing at the gift boxes in his hands and then at his own attire, his face etched with anxiety.
This was his one and only chance to regain his lost prestige.
After being escorted out of Raffle Hotel, Griffin had received several mocking phone calls.
The sarcastic remarks had infuriated him so much that he turned off his phone and lashed out at Felicity in a fit of anger. Originally, at Raffle Hotel, he and Griffin had agreed on everything, and he had even secured a 10% stake in the Baker Group
for Chloe.
