Just then, a crying voice came from the ward door. “Ethan!” A girl in a trendy white dress rushed over to the side of the bed with a small matching bag, smelling sweet as she approached.
Chloe got all teary, her face looked so delicate. “Why didn’t you tell me you were in the hospital! I was worried. If you had told me, I could have been here to take care of you” She was choking up and sobbing at the same time. Anyone who didn’t know would think Ethan was gone.
Ethan was fed up with it, her loud crying felt like it was piercing through the roof, giving him a headache. Sophia never behaved this way.
He cast a cold glance toward Steve. Steve immediately shifted aside to avoid his gaze.
Chloe was now Ethan’s fiancée, so Steve told her to come over. He couldn’t tell Sophia, who was abandoned by Ethan. However, he didn’t expect Chloe to cry so much or be a fool. How could Erhan tell her when he was unconscious!

She held no admiration for Chloe as well. Chloe was the real Stewart’s daughter, but she had lived twenty years outside. Nobody knew what she did during that time. She thought Chloe seemned small–minded and self–absorbed.
Knowing full well that her fiancé was hospitalized yet failing to rush over immediately. Instead, she took time for makeup and fancy clothes.
Her earrings and necklace sparkled, and all of her clothes and purse were emblazoned with huge luxury logos, showing that she was covered in brand names. It was honestly bad.

were red. She looked at Gloria, bit her lip, and tried to hold back tears.

“Will I leave the hospital sooner if you’re here with me? Your crying giving me more headaches!” Ethan said, displeased.
Sophia never cried in front of him. She would make the best medicinal soup based on the doctor’s advice. She would help, not hinder, like Chloe. Chloe’s expression changed. Her eyes widened, clearly shocked that he had talked to her like that. As his fiancée, she cried because she cared about him and wanted to be with him.
She thought back Ethan ignored her feelings and left her alone this early morning in the hotel. It was all because of Sophia. Now he was still doing this to her because of Sophia.
Chlor bit her lips, feeling angry and frustrated. But having grown up on the lowest rung of society, she knew that if she wanted to stay the real daughter of the Stewart Family, she had to stick close to Ethan.

Gloria scoffed softly, rolling her eyes in disdain as she watched Chloe cling to her son like that.
