Chapter 51
Ethan frowned, turned around, and looked up at Chloe.
He looked as if he was questioning her. ‘You didn’t even know Sophia’s L, so why do you think so?”
Chloe’s wet lashes trembled slightly, and she bit her red lips, seeing hesitant. But after thinking for a moment, she said, “Mom and Dad said that Sophia cared most about Grandma, but Grandma passed away from illness…. If she were a miracle- working doctor, how could she not cure Grandma? How could she watch Grandma pass away?”
‘If Sophia were what Tristan said she was, Grandma would have been alive and well by now; how could she possibly have died?‘ Chloe thought.
Doubt flickered in Ethan’s eyes.
In the past three years Sophia fawned over him, he did know how much Sophia valued her grandmother.
He still remembered several times when Sophia was with her grandmother in the hospital, he got drunk and, egged on by his so–called friends, called Sophia to pick him up.
Each time, she left her grandmother to go pick him up.
But she would return to the hospital to be with her grandmother every time after settling him down.
It was evident that she truly cared a lot about her grandmother.
What Chloe said made sense.
That was to say… After Sophia left him, she had no more opportunities to mingle in high society and continue clinging to him, so she used this method to get close to him through Tristan
She was simply naive and foolish.
Pretending to be a miracle–working doctor was so easy to be seen through. If anything unexpected happened, Tristan wouldn’t let her off.
Moreover… it could implicate him as well.
After all, wasn’t it for him that Sophia took such a risky move?
‘Idiot!‘ Ethan cursed inwardly.
He slowly loosened his grip on the wheelchair, glanced at the entrance of the State Hospital, and let out a sneer. “Let’s go. Find another hospital.”
He was just waiting for Sophia to completely offend Tristan so that she would cry bitterly and beg him to help her plead with
Tristan.
His family was currently having a hard time and was no match for the Yeats Family,
But, if Sophia was willing to submit to him again, he wouldn’t mind using his family to help her.

Chapter 51
Sophia didn’t perform acupuncture on Andrew Yeats today.
After all, she just came to assess the situation and to use some simple traditional methods to adjust his physical condition.
Sophia took out the bottles from her backpack, selected two, and handed them to Tristan. “I’ll come to perform acupuncture on him in three days. You need to find a way to give him the pills in the bottles during the period.
The pills in the white bottle are for daytime use, and the ones in the red bottle are for nighttime.”
Tristan took the two bottles, feeling the coolness.
“Your grandpa might not be able to take my acupuncture in his current condition, so we need to nourish his body first. These pills are harmless and natural, made by me when I had some free time at home. You can use them with peace of mind.” Seeing Tristan staring at the bottles in silence, Sophia raised her brows and explained patiently.
“I trust you of course,” Tristan said, his finger brushing over the bottle as his gaze swept over the dozen or so bottles Sophia had taken out. “You deserve your name. You have both impressive medical skills and strong pharmaceutical abilities.”
“Isn’t the Dr. Gomez you found just boasting in front of me because of my pharmaceutical research institute?” Sophia raised a brow and threw the remaining pill bottles back into her backpack casually.
Graduating with a doctorate from a prestigious foreign university made Xenia overly proud.
ما
Furthermore, backed by Mr. the world–renowned medical expert, and his pharmaceutical research institute, she ‘became even more arrogant.
Over the past three years, Sophia had only occasionally sent pills to the pharmaceutical research institute for the staff to study and had never inquired about what was happening there. So she didn’t realize that her research institute had become a tool for someone else to show off.
Coincidentally, she was going to deliver a batch of pills to the research institute and decided to take the opportunity to visit
- it.
She was packing the bottles when suddenly a transparent sealed bag fell out of the side pocket of her backpack. Inside were a dozen or so round, black pills, and they happened to fall at Tristan’s feet.
Tristan bent down to pick them up, looked at the bottles in his hand, then at the ordinary transparent sealed bag. His slender fingers shook the bag slightly as he asked, “What’s this?”
“Some health–boosting pills made from leftover materials.” Sophia took the sealed bag, casually stuffed it back into the side pocket, and picked up her backpack. “I have something else to do. I’m leaving. I’ve checked on your grandpa’s condition. Give him the medicine, and I’ll come back in three days. If acupuncture is possible, we’ll begin the treatment.”
Tristan said, “I’ll see you off.”
“No need, someone will come to pick me up later.” Sophia waved at Tristan and turned to leave.
Sophia left without looking back as if she had no feelings for Tristan.
Tristan’s eyes darkened slightly, and the moment Sophia stepped out of the ward, his thin lips moved slightly..
“Sofi.”
Sophia stopped and looked back at him.

Tristan looked at Sophia in the eye. Nobody knew what he was thinking about.
His well–chiseled features bathed in

Sophia couldn’t take her eyes from him.
Her long lashes trembled slightly, and her crimson lips pressed together. “Anything else?”
“I just wanted to… say thank you.” Tristan’s eyes grew even tender
Sophia seemed to be scorched by his gaze. “We are friends, and there’s no need for thanks between us.”
After saying that, she nodded and turned to leave the ward.
Tristan’s eyes followed her as he walked slowly to the window.
Standing in the sunlight gave the obsessive possessiveness in his eyes a touch of gentleness.
The first step had been taken.
He was no longer afraid of losing her again.
She would appear before him anyway.
He stood quietly at the window, watching Sophia walking out of the VIP inpatient area, heading towards the main entrance of the hospital.
The possessiveness in his eyes grew even stronger.
It was as if a massive net extended from his eyes, descending upon Sophia.
At that moment, he suddenly saw a guy with gray hair excitedly rushing towards Sophia, eagerly talking to her.
Sophia looked indifferent, but she naturally handed her backpack to the
The guy cheerfully took it and left the hospital alongside Sophia

Tristan’s pupils suddenly contracted, and his fingers hanging at his sides clenched tightly.
‘Who’s that guy?‘ he wondered.
