“Aren’t you doing well as the president?” Sophia didn’t have much interest in the so–called position of president of the Traditional Medicine Association.
Owen shook his head and said, “I’m just the acting president. In hy mind, only you are worthy of that position.”
The Traditional Medicine Association symbolized Perino’s tradional medicine and represented Perino internationally, so it should be led by the most capable person.
In Owen’s mind, no one in Perino, or even the world, could surpass Sophia’s medical skills.
Sophia was only twenty years old.
But her talent surpassed that of all geniuses, and calling her a genius would be an insult to her!
She was a born medical prodigy, someone who could fundamentally elevate and propel Perino’s medicine industry.
Before meeting Sophia, Owen grew up bathed in glory from a young age, with medical talent and achievements unmatched in Perino, and he once saw himself as the savior of Perino’s medicine industry.

Owen did not think he deserved it.
“In terms of qualifications, you are more suitable than me.” Sophia waved her hand and added, “In today’s society, everyone tends to trust modern medicine more, because reliable traditional medical practitioners are rare to find, and people’s first impression of a traditional medical practitioner is always measured by age and experience. So you should continue as the president.”
Owen was prestigious internationally; his awards and honors could fill a whole wall.
Having credentials and skills was the most convincing.

Professor Williams glanced disdainfully at Hudson. “Counting on him? I’d rather hope I can live a bit longer.”

He sighed and could only choose to compromise. “I better continue researching these new pills.”
Professor Williams then left.
Hudson lay prone on Professor Williams‘ desk, looking up to reveal his handsome face. He blinked his bright eyes and said, “Sophia, I heard you moved out of the residence of the Stewart Family. Would you like to stay at my place? I’ve bought a villa near the research institute, and it’s super big!”
Sophia glanced at him and replied, “Aren’t you cooped up at the research institute every day, immersing yourself in work? How do you have time to pay attention to my personal affairs?”
“Nothing is more important than your matters. No matter how busy I am, I have to keep track of your updates,” Hudson replied with an expression resembling that of a loyal puppy.

Sophia looked him in the eye. His eyes were bright and sparkled with a bit of hopeful anticipation.
She chuckled and said, “I know you’re quite capable, having already become Professor Williams‘ heir. However, I’m living well in my home, and my family is nice, so I don’t plan to move out.”
The light in Hudson’s eyes suddenly extinguished.

He wore a long face, pouting, looking at Sophia with a pitiful expression. “I thought I could gain an advantage being so close by.”
“What are you thinking?” Sophia smacked Hudson on the head. It’s too early for you to think about it.”
Hudson’s face was turned to the side by the smack, and sadness flickered in his seemingly innocent eyes.

When he looked back again, he seemed like a boy next door, with a pure appearance.
He held his head and pouted. “Hmm, since you have finally returned to your family, I’ll let you go to them.”
Sophia rolled her eyes at him, unwilling to listen to his nonsense and threw the transparent sealed bag she had just taken out from her backpack to him.
“Sell these ten pills, which can keep people healthy and live longer.”
Hudson took the pills and rubbed his thumb over them through the sealed bag. “Wow! Pills concocted by ‘Mr. Young‘! Selling them on the black market would start at least 300,000 dollars each. Are you short of money?”
