Then her cheeks flushed, as if she was shy from her father’s praise. She slightly lowered her eyes and said, “Sandra will return to the country tomorrow. I have to pick her up, and she also invited me to accompany her to an auction in the evening.”

A gleam flashed in Griffin’s eyes, and he Chloe’s hand, laughing heartily. “Good, spend the whole day with her
tomorrow. If she takes a fancy to anything at the auction, you jus pay for her.”
With that, Griffin took out a black card from his wallet and stuffed it into Chloe’s hand. “You must perform well in front of Miss Roscente. I’ll rely on you in the future,”
Chloe, looking both flattered and surprised, glanced at the black card in her hand, then looked up at her father, showing a touched expression. “Dad, I see.”

The next day, at eight thirty in the evening, Sophia drove to the location sent by Tristan.
It was a private mansion, now brilliantly lit and bustling.
Luxury cars were parked at the entrance, and those stepping out were famous financial moguls and business elites from Perino as well as many elites from abroad.
It was extremely luxurious.
As soon as Sophia got out of the car and tossed the keys to the valet, a deep, lazy voice was heard.
“Sofi.”
The man wore a black suit, his jacket unbuttoned, revealing a white shirt, faintly showing his smooth muscles beneath. His aloof and handsome face, enough to captivate anyone, lit up slightly when he saw Sophia, his eyes shimmering.
Under the bright lights of the mansion, his features held a subtle hint of gentleness.
Sophia was somewhat surprised to find Tristan waiting for her at the door.
She looked past Tristan, towards the direction he had just come from, where quite a few big shots in formal attire were gathered.
Apparently, while Tristan was waiting for her at the entrance, he was almost surrounded by that group of people.
“Why didn’t you go inside first?” Once Tristan went inside the auction hall, no one could approach his seat without his permission.
Tristan’s thin lips curved slightly. “Never mind, I wanted to wait here for you.”
Sophia’s long eyelashes trembled, as if something struck her heart fiercely at that moment.
That burning sensation, which made her cheeks slightly hot, assaulted her once again.

She curled her slender fingers slightly, lowering her gaze. Then she walked straight past Tristan towards the mansion. “Let’s get in
Her retreating figure appeared somewhat hurried.
Tristan watched her back intently and let out a chuckle.
Then, he followed her happily.
At the mansion’s entrance, those big shots who had just gathered to chat with Tristan, only to be left behind, could no longer maintain their composure, staring wide–eyed and open–mouthed at the departing figures of Tristan and the woman.
They were dumbstruck.
“Who is that–that lady?”
“Which family is she from? Mr. Yeats cares about her so much!”
What shocked them even more was the stark differences in Tristan’s attitudes.
When Tristan faced them just now, he was poised, aloof, out of reach, and unapproachable, exactly like the rumors described.
Yet, when he saw that woman, the smile on his lips was so gentle and visible.
Had they not seen it with their own eyes, they would never have believed he could show such an expression.
“However, that lady is indeed pretty. I’ve never seen such a gorgeous lady before.”
“If she weren’t beautiful, how could she catch Mr. Yeats‘ eye?”
“Why does that lady look familiar to me, as if I’ve seen her somewhere before?”
“Speaking of which, since that lady is Mr. Yeats‘ companion, how come she showed up in such a place without dressing up properly?”
“Mr. Yeats didn’t seem to mind her attire. Looks like he’s about to have good news soon.”
The crowd stood at the entrance to the mansion, discussing animatedly.
A luxurious limited edition Rolls–Royce stopped at the entrance
Even in a place where luxury cars could be seen everywhere, that Rolls–Royce was still eye–catching.
The car door opened, and the first to emerge was a woman in a white fishtail gown, with exquisite makeup and an amiable appearance.
After getting out of the car, she gazed at the grand mansion with her beautiful eyes, seemingly astonished by its grandeur, her face showing a look of longing.
Even though she wore a high–end designer evening gown and luxurious jewelry, standing in front of the majestic mansion, her pettiness became particularly noticeable.

However, she was unaware of that. She walked to the other side of the car in her high heels, a smile spreading across her face. As she reached out to open the door, she cheerfully said, “Sandra, this place is so grand! I can only see such a big world by following you.”
Next, another woman, wearing a black gown that set off her voluptuous figure, got out of the car. Her simple attire nevertheless highlighted her status as a socialite.
She had an arrogant expression, with her face slightly clouded with anger.
Faced with Chloe’s flattering compliments, she did not give her the slightest response. Instead, she walked quickly towards those in power outside the mansion in her stiletto heels, her expression somber.
“You just said Mr. Yeats was about to have good news. What do you mean?” The woman clenched the limited edition handbag in her hand, her voice cold.
“Oh, isn’t this Miss Roscente?”
Someone recognized the woman, quickly put on a smile, and said with a laugh, “When did you return to the country? Is your father doing well lately?”
Everyone in the circle knew that the Roscente Family, the richest in wealth, and the Yeats Family had arranged a marriage for their younger generation. The Rosettes‘ daughter, Sandra, fell in love at first sight with the head of the Yeats Family and declared that she would marry no one but him,
Sandra had always considered herself to be Tristan’s fiancée.
Now, Tristan brought another woman to the auction, and Sandra went there in a hurry.
The crowd was amazed by Xandra’s persistence.
Sandra furrowed her delicate brows slightly, her expression became increasingly cold. Although her smile was that of a graceful lady, her voice was icy. “Let’s chat some other time. I just want to know if you were talking about Tristan.”
The few people looked at each other, their expressions awkward.
After Sophia and Tristan entered the auction hall, the manager there came to greet them, leading them to their seats.
Their seats were in the VIP section on the second floor, a private booth elegantly set with exquisite, expensive snacks and invaluable red wine.
On the table of the booth was a sign marked with the number 24
