So that was why Lucas posted strange messages on Instagram last night. Turned out Mia had cut ties with him.
I found Mia’s attempt to get close to me extremely off–putting and took several steps back. My reaction sent Mia into a breakdown, and she started crying uncontrollably. But I didn’t bother with her and just waited for the cleaning service.
But she seemed to have drunk too much and passed out on the floor with stomach bleeding. I was not heartless enough to leave her to die, sol called an ambulance for her. But I didn’t go to the hospital with her. Her condition was no longer my concern.
After the apartment was cleaned up, the potential buyer came to see it. Perhaps I was lucky, so the buyer was satisfied at first sight and signed the contract without hesitation. Then I went to the airport with a sense of relief.
Before I boarded, Mia started frantically calling and messaging me. The constant ringing of my phone was really annoying, so I blocked and deleted all of Mia’s contact information.
From then on, there would be no more connections between us.
Always looking forward–that was my ultimate goal.
