Cindy stayed by Colt’s side all the time, and Emilie was also unwilling to leave.

Emilie used to video call Colt every day, watching him recover.

want?”

Cindy stood at the door of the room, listening to their conversation, and couldn’t help but smile.

The sofa was piled with gift boxes, and there was a fluffy toy poodle.
Colt came out of the kitchen wearing an apron, holding Cindy’s favorite dish in his hands.
“Come back, you can wash your hands and have a meal now.”
“Dad, it’s great!” Emilie gave Colt a thumbs up and pulled Cindy inside. “I learned all of this from the TV, isn’t it romantic?”
Colt scratched his head, looking shy, “Um, Cindy, I came uninvited, I hope you don’t mind.”
Cindy shook her head and glanced at the instigator, “It’s okay, these romantic things are for young people, mom doesn’t need them.”
“Who said that! Mom was also young.”
“Yes, Emilie is right,” Colt agreed.
“Let’s have a meal.” Cindy changed the subject. “Okay.”
Cindy and Emilie sat together, with Colt sitting across from them, watching Cindy hesitatingly
Emilie nodded at him.
He pushed the dishes in front of Cindy and said, “These are all your favorite dishes, eat more.
Emilie frowned helplessly, glared at him, and whispered, “Hurry up, Dad.”
Colt stood up with Emilie’s encouragement and walked up to Cindy. He knelt down and said, “Cindy, I love you. I know that the past cannot be easily forgotten, but I will always strive to make you
appy.”
“You don’t have to forgive me right now, I only hope that you are willing to let me take care of you
by your side. I will love you and Emilie forever.”

“Mom…” Emilie held her breath and looked at Cindy.
