Emilie’s body stiffened, she lifted her head and looked at Colt and Allan.
Colt lifted him up, his eyes filled with a tenderness Emilie had never seen before.
Emilie saw him, he shook Allan’s hand, but there was no other reaction from him.
Emilie’s eyes were filled with tears of grievance, and he averted his gaze from Emilie’s sight.
“Allan was being naughty, letting Colt carry him. Come down quickly,” Hazel said, trying to pull him down as he held onto Colt’s neck tightly.
“No way, I like being hugged by Colt, and Colt likes hugging me too,” Allan pecked Colt on the face. “I’m hungry, I want to eat cake.”
“Okay, let’s go eat cake, Colt,” Hazel smiled and followed behind Colt, taking a few steps before
turning back to call Cindy.
“Ms. Benton, hurry up.”
Cindy crouched down, and Emilie was already in tears. She lifted her little face and asked, “Mom, are they the people Uncle likes?”
In that moment, Cindy could no longer restrain her sadness and embraced her, shedding tears
together.
This scene was too cruel for Cindy to bear, let alone Emilie.
Cindy didn’t answer, but Emilie already knew the answer.
“Mom, I want to take another look.” Emilie wiped her tears and took Cindy’s hand, “I want to see if the person Uncle likes is good or not.”
“Emilie, shall we go home?” Cindy couldn’t bear to let Emilie get hurt again.
Emilie stubbornly shook her head, “I wanted to go.”
“Okay.”
Cindy led her by the hand into the banquet hall.
The banquet hall was crowded and lively, with Colt and two others as the center of attention.
Cindy sat silently in the corner with Emilie, whose gaze remained fixed on Colt.
The tenderness and care that he showed Allan, Emilie had always longed for but never had.
Emilie stood up when she saw Colt personally feeding Allan fruits.
“Mom, Uncle really likes them. Uncle is smiling so happily. Let’s go, let’s not disturb him

Emilie’s words struck Cindy’s heart like a boulder, causing her unbearable pain.
“Then we went home.”
Emilie nodded.
She took Emilie’s hand and walked towards the door.
“Ms. Benton, please wait,” Colt’s secretary intercepted them, “Mr. Nolan said he wants to take Emilie out to play, and he asked you to hand Emilie over to me.”
He was the only person in the company who knew about their relationship.
Uncle is going to take me to play?” Emilie’s gloomy eyes instantly lit up, as she scanned the crowd
in search of Colt.
The secretary nodded, “Yes, Mr. Nolan instructed so.”
At the same time, Colt sent a message, saying that he wanted to take Emilie to see fireworks.
This was the first time.
He took the initiative to suggest taking Emilie out to play.
Cindy was not at ease in her heart and did not want her to go.

I glanced towards Colt, hoping Emilie wouldn’t be disappointed.
Cindy left alone and as soon as she got home, she received a phone call from Emilie.
“Mom, Mom, Uncle left me behind,” Emilie cried out in anguish, and Cindy’s heart sank instantly.
“I’m scared.”
Emilie! Where were you?”
Emilie sobbed, “I, I didn’t know.”

Don’t be afraid, Mom is coming to find you now. Don’t hang up the phone, Mom will talk to you. Mom will be there soon.” Cindy searched for Emilie’s watch location on her phone and hurriedly drove to find her.
