Antoine, I hated you, I really hated you.
It was you who caused my family to be ruined and left me with no one to rely on.
I had already agreed to marry you, and you clearly promised me that you wouldn’t touch Alan. Why did you break your promise? Why?
After coming back, this cruel and ruthless person actually hugged me as if nothing had happened.
He even affectionately rubbed his chin against my forehead, “We will get married next week, Noemi. You used to say that you wanted to marry me the most, and now your wish can finally come true. Are you happy?”
He shamelessly asked me if I was happy.
That was ridiculous.
“Antoine,” I called out to him softly.
“Hmm? What do you want to say?” His voice slightly rose at the end, with a hint of an elusive smile.
“I just want you to die now,” I said as I inserted a fruit knife into his abdomen.
He was caught off guard and only managed to grab onto the blade, but the tip of the knife had already pierced into his body, slowly staining his pristine white shirt with crimson blood.
He staggered back two steps, looking at me in disbelief, “Why?”
How dare you ask me why?
I stared at him with hatred, “You promised me that you wouldn’t touch Alan, it was you who killed him, it was you!”
I was no match for Antoine, even though he was injured, he easily overpowered me.
. Of course, I knew I couldn’t kill him, but it would be good to make him suffer a little.
Why is it that he could get away with doing so many bad things without any consequences?
Why could he easily destroy all my happiness and joy?
Didn’t he say he loved me? The feeling of being stabbed by the person you love must be worse than
death.

The family doctor came and bandaged his wound.
People took away all the sharp objects in the room, not even leaving out the vases and glass cups.

I sat on the cold floor in despair, leaning against the wall and silently shedding tears.
After a while, Antoine returned to the room and crouched down in front of me.
His face was pale, and his brows and eyes were dim. “I didn’t touch him. I had no idea what happened to him.”
I sneered, “Do you think I would still believe you?”
He showed a pained expression and said, “I dare to take responsibility for what I have done. How can I admit to something I haven’t done?”
I didn’t want to look at him at all, but he held my face with both hands and forced me to make eye
contact with him.

death like this. Noemi, you actually want me dead for him.”
I asked expressionlessly, “Shouldn’t you be dead?”
Antoine’s body suddenly shook, “Did you really fall in love with him?”
“He deserves it,” I chuckled absentmindedly. “He is more honest and kinder than you, gentler and more considerate than you. He is better than you in every way, and you can never compare to him!”
Antoine’s eyes shimmered with an indescribable pain. The next second, he leaned in and sealed my
lips.
He dared to touch me, which was truly disgusting. I fiercely bit his lips, and my mouth was instantly
filled with the taste of blood. However, he seemed oblivious and continued to plunder my breath.
I went to pound his wound, one hit after another. He groaned in pain and finally let go of me.
The wound wrapped in gauze turned red again, and I felt extremely delighted. I even laughed out loud, “You deserve it!”
He covered his wound, looked deeply at me, and finally smiled in defeat, “Yes, I deserve it. I canf
only burden you and spend the rest of my life with a scumbag like me.”
