Chapter 10
My hand paused.
I know how much Megan loved Leonel. One of the reasons she agreed to a secret marriage was because she truly loved him.
I thought her heart wavered about getting a divorce, but I didn’t expect Megan to say the next sentence, “Sister, can’t we file for divorce? I don’t want to have any contact with him anymore.”
Her eyes had a determination that I had never seen before.
At this moment, I suddenly felt that Megan, who had always been protected by me, had grown up.
I smiled at her and said, “Go and tidy up, I will go to the hospital to change your medicine as soon as possible.”
While Megan was changing clothes, I finished washing the dishes and called a car.
All the way, I was pondering how to tell Felix to advance the time for divorce.
At the hospital, Megan was getting her dressing changed at the outpatient department, while I made a few phone calls to Felix in the hallway.
No one answered the calls.
Thinking that he might be busy with work, I went downstairs to pay first.
There was a crowd of people gathered below, and I couldn’t even squeeze my way to the payment window.
The familiar roar came from the center of the crowd.
“Where did I apologize to you? Making you use me and my younger brother as monkeys? Is this what you call a fracture? Not even a single wound on your arm can be found! Even if I were blind for these five years! Don’t let me see you again in the future!”
Felix was even angrier than the day we had an argument, he had already crossed the edge of losing
control.
The bandage on Julianna’s arm across from him unraveled, dragging on the ground, and her arm had no wounds.
The once gentle expression is no longer there, and now the delicate features are all hideous.
“These were voluntary for you, but weren’t my five years of youth time? Those were all I deserved! Stop pretending to be innocent in front of me!”
What you and Leonel are, I know very well! Don’t think I’m as foolish as those two idiots from the Schultz family!”

I was extremely angry, and the veins on his neck were pulsating clearly.
The next second, he threw a thick stack of documents in Julianna’s face in front of everyone.
I had never seen him be so heartless towards Julianna.
The onlookers quickly dispersed, creating a pathway. He angrily walked towards me.
When he saw me, his angry expression quickly disappeared, and he forced a smile.
“Mer, can we talk?”
Thinking about the divorce, I nodded and agreed with him.
After the crowd dispersed, I paid the fee and walked with him to the corner of the stairs.
Before I could say anything, he slapped himself in the face.
“I’m sorry, these past three years, I’m
I’m sorry…”
Felix slowly lifted his eyes, and bloodshot veins crawled out from his once sharp gaze.
The president of the Sampson Group, who was once dignified, is now in a sorry state. The voice trembled as it spoke, “I didn’t know she was like this. If it wasn’t for my mom investigating her, I would still be in the dark. Everything online was posted by her. She never intended for me and Leonel to go to the wedding from the beginning…”
“I found out too late, I’m sorry… In the past three years, she even forged your mother’s medical records and certificates, so I always thought that our secret marriage was a lie from you. But I needed a puppet to help me maintain stability at home, so I didn’t expose her and treated you poorly. I…”
“Alright, no need to say anymore.”
I interrupted his confession softly.
. It has come to this point, saying anything is useless.
No wonder Sharon didn’t bother me when she heard the news that I was getting divorced.
Indeed, being able to be the mistress of the house is not easy.
